- We picked up a new iPad Air 3 and decided that we wanted to grab something that would hopefully make storage and backup a little nicer and easier. We ended up grabbing the RP-WD009 RAVPower FileHub, Travel Router AC750. Seems like a really long name but who cares as long as it does it’s job well. This is our first video of the RAVPower FileHub, Travel Router AC750 but we think that we will probably do some more to show how it actually functions and how it can be useful with your portable tablet, iPad, iPhone or Android device.

Yes needs to be set in DUAL MODE or 2 mode to connect to the web and the iPad at same time.

Great video. I now have a much better understanding of this device. Methinks that is would be useful to have on our moto travels, better that having to carrying my MacBook with us.

Love mine. Doing podcast recordings on a Zoom H6. This allows me to move the audio files via an SD Card in the hub to my iPad Pro so I can use Ferrite to edit. Also, worked well at a couple hotels recently to share a wired connection with a few devices in our room. 5G always. BTW, the app "FileBrowser" (I user FileBrowser for Business) allows you to integrate the drive into the native iOS Files app.
so far im loving it too. the 5g is definitely faster. On the 2.4ghz it took about 1:50 to move 6 files, but on the 5g it took just over a minute! Pretty sure ill be using this for backups and to use when im working with Luma Fusion! Ill probably look at the "FileBrowser" as it would be nice to have access to the Files app.

I recently bought the older version and wish I had got the new version because the old version sometimes freezes 720p videos on my Oculus go

Hi, I'm using basic Ipad air3 too. I decided to buy WD wireless SSD but i found RavPower can handle like WD. So what do u think which one i should buy.. 🤔😄
I went with the RavPower because I can use any hard drive or sd card or USB stick that I have or will buy in the future. I'm not stuck with the WD hard drive. I was also looking at that device but decided on the RavPower for that reason.

Hi, i just received filehub from Us via Amazon. I just test to access Filehub in Lumafusion, but sadly lumafusion ask id and passwords to access File, i dont know what kind of id and password it ask. Can u make tutorial to connect filehub to Lumafusion. 😎

when it connects to the 5g connection does it ask you for a Password?

I did it I connected my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 phone through a QGeeM 100W max USB-C hub powered by a 97W separate USB-C wall adapter by Nekteck connected to QGeeMs Female charging port, two 3.0 USB ports and a USB-C power and data transmission port usinh the right cables (OTG power and data) and a good file explorer OTG capable like ES file explorer most now are OTG capable and at first I downloaded exFAT/NTFS for USB by Paragon software, then I Uninstalled the software realizing that it might not of even bene needed because because my Western Digital passport ultra 4TB USB-C drive was being recognized by many good file explorer OTG capable app and the drive just like it would in any laptop computer. The drive just plugs right into the power data transmission port or any one of the 3.0 USB through a USB. 3.1 Type C Female to USB A Male Adapter by Electop all cables drive hub adapters available on Amazon. The Western Digital passport ultra 4tb hard drive does everything read copy move back and forth photos HD video everything faster than any laptop using the proper OTG capable file explorer manager application.
