It's all about the headshots. If you aren't landing them, it's not going to work as well. But x2 headshot multiplier is insane and it has the same range as the sniper rifle. I think it's a top tier gun. Undecided on whether the scope helps it as it adds a glint that can get you spotted more easily, but it does make the headshots easier.
