Not sure if I'm just lucky, but don't be scared of titles. Most of the people I've interacted with are just that, people. I've had coworkers scared to talk with VPs because they were a few levels removed but had legitimate reasons to talk. Per the last point, if your Sr/lead/manager isn't there to help you grow, you may be better looking for a different team/company
Thanks for that type of content, Anton.
1.5 years with the same team and projects pool - now it's a dead end. Unfortunate.
Is always stand and suffer, or improve and go 😅
Extreme Ownership is truly a gem and it does make a difference approaching life with that attitude. Discipline equals freedom, as they say.
Discipline equals freedom
Great content. Q2 is something that AI also unironically solves quite often. I use gpt as a sidekick to talk architectural decisions and other concerns through with. At least for situations which don't require company specific concerns.
not gonna lie, whenever i see uncle bob clean code book, my heart start racing, thanks to this book, i have quite a lot of trashy code and i am being really kind here
StartCar()
{
GetIn()
TurnKey()
FootOnClutch()
DriveIntoTree()
}
The one he refers to is another book from UncleBob. The Clean CodeR. But I totally agree with you on Clean Code book.
Don't get mad because of few issues in the company, sometimes devops side is problematic but deadlines are flexible, sometimes otherwise. Sometimes you have bad codebase but you have good teammates with helpful environment. So look at the whole picture, not for specific issues you face. Every place has some issues
I recently quit my job as a programmer cuz I was sick of it and I will never be a developer again.
so what's your dream job?
@@cyril113 Sadly I am not sure. I will probably study something new like being a BIM drafter
Hey I'm feeling similar. it's so sad the job I loved so much, I'm feeling this way about it. I don't know what else can I do there seems to be no better option
I don't know what to say about this video at all, but the certain image at your background really distracted me few times 😅
Could you please remove the inappropriate poster or hide it from the video background it is very disrespectful
I’m my culture it’s appropriate, and you’re a guest here.
@@RawCoding Yes I am a guest but I am also seeking knowledge And I have found alot of amazing information here and I appreciate you I want you to understand that and to understand that it is not about culture it is about respecting woman and that poster is very disrespectful for us.
@user-fv4ht5qy4m my girlfriend drew it, she thinks it’s not disrespectful.
Yeah I mean it's beautiful, but why is there a bare ass in a programming video?
