Midas Wholecloth Challenge

See what quilters created when given a challenge. Some very talented quilters were asked to create a wholecloth using a specific quilting design. It is always amazing to see how different these quilts look, despite all having the same design.

What a great challenge! I loved them all but the one with the background fills really stands out to me! Loved the bloopers too!

I adored them all but my favorite was the one by Joanna Marsh @ Kustom Kuilts. Her attention to detail and use of different colors of thread is masterful. It epitomizes the definition of a whole cloth quilt.

They are all beautiful but I have to say the lime green is my favorite.

I LOVE the Lime green. And I love the bloopers. Bloopers are the best.

I just finished taking Telene Jeffrey's online Wholecloth class so this challenge was especially interesting to me. I loved them all, they are all so well done, but my favorite is Joanna Marsh's quilt. Joanna's use of backfill in the negative space really made the design pop.
