I have recently started listening to this sister's stories. Only Allah SWT knows the reality but i find some stories acceptable because of the time and situation but some are very irritating. This story is another irritating one. First of all i dont think after 2000 there is anyone that dumb to tolerate so much abuse. Secondly its not the in laws who abused this sister its her own family who is responsible for her situation. If your own parents dont understand your pain then who will?. I am not saying what happened to this sister is not real but in UK no one is dumb enough to tolerate this type of abuse and behaviour. This woman did not just ruin her life but children's too. She cannot complain because if she didnt have the guts to speak before then i think she should be quite even now. I am also a woman and i have been through two worst marriages but there is a limit to everything. I am British born and i suffered so much because i am a Bengali and Muslim. My culture is responsible for many of my worst situations. I raised my 3 children on my own. Alhamdulillah my children are graduates and doing well in life. Life is not all about having a husband or a father. If Allah SWT opened the doors for us then why not explore. Its all about Bangladeshi people with ambition of coming to Europe. Specially Sylheti people. They dont educate their children enough and their islamic knowledge is also very limited. I dont feel sorry for them because their own parents are responsible for their disaster.
Bogus news!!! In London if Husband or anybody physically assult any house wife, she can easily inform this to the local council or police. Then police can take action and husband could be prosecuted 6 month jail. And even the lady gets divorced , she will get help from the council as single mother or single lady.
