You absolutely made the right choice. I have an N55 LCI and just put a VRSF sports cat in..with the m perf exhaust it is THE best sound I have ever owned. I never stop smiling.
Congrats, I love the LCI it’s just so clean!!! It’s such a great car - I absolutely love it 😭 I had an akrapovic exhaust installed with a Strada catless dp and wow it’s on another level as well 😇

I have the same car, mine is a late 2016, in the same colour, 1 owner from new, 25,800 miles. To be honest, it feels slow compared to my last car (a tuned M140i with 455bhp), but in every other way it is levels above.
@@kaiichinose9590 I have looked at a simple remap for the N55 in the OG M2, although it's advisable to fit an upgraded intercooler as these engines get a bit hot even on standard power, or so I have been reading. That would take it to about 410bhp, so I'm pretty sure you must have spent a lot of money getting it to 510bhp. I'm guessing upgraded turbo, fuel pump ?
Awesome car my dude. I just picked up a one owner 2018 M2 LCI in Alpine White 6spd man, with m drivers package, executive pack, sunroof, and all m performance carbon fiber bits including the m performance exhaust. I chose it for a similar priced m2c and just prefer the n55b so much more.

Agreed - the the b58 is a crazy capable motor but in terms of dynamics, braking, sound and looks the m2 is on another level
And you can always tune the n55b quite easily as well. I am currently at 510whp on 93 octane. Perfect amount of power and still enjoy the sound.

Seeing this reminds me how beautiful this generation was, the new M2 has it's share of visual flare but is mostly poo poo.
Yeah the new one is growing on me but it needs a lot of aftermarket items to clean it up - the f87 is just a beauty from the get go 🥹
