    Some jobs you work all day and there isn't much to show for it, but a good straight fence standing there, shining in the setting sun gives you a real sense of accomplishment to a long days work.
    The strainer posts (braces) you're putting in are never going to rot or burn in a bush fire, so definitely a long term investment.

    Mannnn. I helped install some cow fence on my brother in laws farm in Brasil. We had some split tree trunks for fence posts, had to dig it down 3 feet,then bashed the dirt back around the post. Very solid, every about 9 feet a post. I loved the look. We only had barbed wire. We did maybe 20 posts a day, the heat & sun made it very difficult for me but loved the experience.
    Enjoyed your video, I'm going to Google a few questions. Looking forward to the next one.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

    There is a you tube video about the Dingo Fence Machine that does six strand electric fence, two men, truck, trailer, ATV and marking equipment. Six kilometers ( Australia ) or 3.728 miles per day. It's great to see all this happening. A mile a day is phonemonial.

    • @karlelliott9254
      @karlelliott9254 5 років тому +1

      Farm Fence Solutions LLC Yes, I found it pretty amazing. Charles Kauralt said N. C. mountain land had to be pretty strong to hold up all those rocks. A fence post hole through granite is pretty stout. Down east sand and Piedmont clay, not so bad in places, except for the granite rollers and flint rock. In southern Davidson County N. C. our well went 243 feet through dry slate, hit the water which came within 20 feet of the surface and with air blew a solid six inch river. Hedrick estimated 1500 gallons per minute.

    For those that play with galvanized pipe, welding , and if you don't have a mask, drink a 1/2 quart to a quart of butter milk right after. Quantity depends how long you were welding. If welding 8 hr's, a quart of butter milk. It help's big time.

    • @farmfencesolutionsllc
      @farmfencesolutionsllc 5 років тому

      That is only a temporary fix. The long term damage will already be done. Just DON'T weld galvanized steel without proper lung protection. It's not worth it.

    • @farmfencesolutionsllc
      @farmfencesolutionsllc 5 років тому

      We were showcasing a bit of the variety available from Tornado Wire. 1147-6 Torus is a square knot fence, which still has the stiffness of a solid vertical stay like 1348-12 Titan, but with the added capability of 1/4 mile rolls. The USA has a very diverse regional net wire preference, so we like to appeal to as many as possible. Thanks!
