I’m American born and raised. The people who own and control America couldn’t care less about the people of America, so they definitely won’t care about Nigerians. War and distress are profitable for these people. Hospitals and schools not so much. I have met many exceptional Nigerian Americans and it makes me wonder why Nigeria isn’t a more powerful nation on the world stage.

Although I don't support permitting military bases occupied and run by foreign powers, we must recognize that countries like Niger Republic, Mali, and Burkina Faso are essentially becoming Russian military bases. This is as much a threat to Nigeria as having French or American bases. In fact, one might argue that having a none democratic superpower is worse, especially one that has close ties with countries that maintain strong ties with terrorist groups and their state sponsors.
