i feel like seventeen is one of the groups that are able to stand out even when the members go solo. like it doesn’t feel awkward or empty in their solo projects. when in group promotions, they exude this harmonious image but when they go solo, their individuality and uniqueness shines through. i can see that with their solo projects they’ve released. it makes me wonder sometimes how 13 people with different personalities, different auras can come together to be what seventeen is today. it shows just how much each of them carries pride in their works as a group and as an individual.
I speak Chinese and English, but very little Korean. I had zero clue what language he was using and it took me to get to this mv to read subtitles to figure it out. This kind of singing in Chinese is so hard to understand cuz the tones are flattened and without tones, you can’t figure out what they’re saying. Also, the inflections are not normal, which is great musical variety, but makes it hard to guess.

Despite the obvious talent that Jun possesses, the lyrics of this song are insane! I didn't see a lot of people talking about it but it's one of the best lyrics I have seen in a while in a song. Now, let's talk about how well this video came out! MY LORD! This MV is amazing! Top tier and this song became one of my favorite releases of the year! I really stream, but I'm going to stream this MV!
Finally!! Someone who mentions the lyrics! They stood out to me as well, I really love the lyrics. I think they are very thought provoking. Jun has done such an incredible job with this one overall; the off-beat sound was really interesting to listen to as well.

Jun wrote this song with the message for everyone to love themselves. It's a bit of a constant battle for me to remember self-love. I probably have rather low self-esteem, so I go into a negative thinking phase sometimes. I am my worst critic, to be honest. I'm also a bit of a perfectionist. Honestly, it never seems to be easy to be me... I'm so glad I have Jun and the boys in my life because they bring me so much comfort and happiness... I love you, Jun. The lyrics when translated are meaningful but perhaps awkward in English. As a Chinese speaker, I want to say that in Chinese, while the meaning is the same, the lyrics also flow really well - it rhymes in a sense and has lyrical symmetry - super well done.
