while preparing Clay for molding you should add correct amount of water to it. If you find cracks in the model after drying, fill the gap with super glue.

while molding make a small hole in the below portion of heart. This hole will help u to fix the heart in a stand . After drying u can fix it with stand using glue . You can make stand using small paper box/wooden base/plastic tray/clay with skewer/metal wires .
