I'm actually glad you've asked that, as I'm sure it'll be a question that others have as well. The reason left hand and right hand/left side, right side skills are listed separately is because in my training and teaching I've found that being able to do a technique with your stronger hand doesn't automatically mean you're able to do it with the other hand as well. It takes training, and sometimes it can feel like learning the technique from scratch when trying to do it with your weaker hand, but Rope Rage has a big emphasis on balance, so we try to work out any imbalances - IT SUCKS to train on the weaker side though, I know this, but it just takes practice and patience. Also, I haven't actually looked into Patreon - if you don't mind, could you let me know why it would be a good fit for this content? I practically know nothing about it so it would help me to know. Thanks again, -Glen
@@RopeRage Thank you for the response! Makes sense. Great vid! As for Patreon, it is a way for your community to voluntarily support, via cash donation, for making this content. It may also help/encourage you to make more content, if that interests you.

Thanks for the reply Glen, I used to box and use the rope, getting back into the skipping since lockdown. Luv it. Tunes on, freedom. Thanks again, all the best
Great to hear you're finding that love for using the rope again. It's a great activity in these times, all you need is a rope and some space and you can have a good session 👌🏽
Well, I hope these vids can continue to help you out wherever you need 'em. I'm currently taking a short hiatus from video production, but have been working on a bunch of stuff so there's MUCH more to come soon.
What did you put in rope ! For weight?!
this rope is weighted, but I cannot add weight to this type of rope!
Outrageous!
hey it looks like you taped something at the center of your rope.....is it just to protect your rope, or does it help in some other way?
Yes, well spotted! It’s just to protect my rope 👍🏽
Hi, which rope is that I’m trying to figured out??
hey Gerard, thanks for reaching out! I like to switch up my ropes all the time as I don’t want my skill level to become reliant on any one kind of rope, but the rope used in this particular video is the Rx SmartGear buff rope, can find it on the Rx SmartGear website 👍🏽
13 & 14 - Why is there a difference between left and right from a skills perspective? Are you on Patreon?
Thanks again,
-Glen
@@RopeRage Thank you for the response! Makes sense. Great vid!
As for Patreon, it is a way for your community to voluntarily support, via cash donation, for making this content. It may also help/encourage you to make more content, if that interests you.
@@johnpalmer6005 Sorry, missed your follow-up here somehow, thanks a lot for the quick summary on that - I think I'm definitely going to get that set up soon after I look into it properly. I do have a lotta content in me to share! I have actually been planning on launching a new channel very soon to facilitate that. That launch is almost ready, but I'm considering Patreon quite seriously now also.
Thanks again, really is a much-appreciated suggestion there 👍🏽
