I love hearing you talk about the mental power of makeup. I always go back and forth with my dad, as he’s part of the “you don’t need it! Why?” Camp, and I always just say i love how it makes me feel. Not that I feel bad without it, but it’s transformative and a similar escape to painting. Loving yourself and your face is important :)
A lot of my friends and family give me crap about my makeup routine, but it really does make me feel good about myself! It's my way of getting in the right head space and preparing to tackle whatever the day brings as confidently as possible. ❤
I’ve gone most my life rarely wearing makeup because it’s time consuming and I like to keep it “special”. I’ve started wearing veeeery basic makeup daily mostly just because I like to see myself with clear skin. It’s still me it’s still my face just without acne scars and blotchiness. I also love playing with eye shadow, i don’t wear it often but I love arts and crafts so it just feels like a new outlet for me.
My favorite line is how I am living my life currently..."I don't have room for lukewarm". Yup. You are so right Tati! Love this video SO much. The Maybelline Fit Me powder is my FAVORITE powder EVER! Literally wear it as a powder foundation over a bit of concealer and it’s perfection for super light natural makeup. Looovvveee.
artsybirdy _ well for my personal taste i think it’s definitely pigmented enough. I just apply concealer (makeup revolution conceal and define) to any areas that i want a bit more coverage on and then apply the powder overtop and it’s perfect. If you’re into the natural “no makeup” makeup type of look i would totally recommend giving it a try. Honestly is my ride or die powder, I’d be totally fine never having any other powder!
Mel Thompson did a video a while back and she was upset because they not only changed the La Mer powder which had been her holy grail, but they gave you 1/2 the amount for an increased price! So - "reformulated", and 1/2 the product for a higher price - yeah, she was not happy.

Bc I love Le Mer, La Praire, Sisley, Channel, And more more more And your perfumes!

Also, I've seen plenty of videos where she listed prices on the screen and they were outrageously priced . . . Like $195 primers and stuff. So I find that hard to believe🤷🏻♀️
If your skin is oily but you don’t have a lot of acne (me) I 10/10 recommend using the coty airspun extra coverage powder as a “skin tint/ BB cream” because it gives you a good amount of coverage without making you extra greasy like most skin tints do on me :) just a tip cause it’s cheap and I’ve been doing it for like a year!!
Tiana, can you please tell me your process on how you do that? I would definitely like to try that... Also, do you happen to know the difference between the translucent extra coverage and the naturally neutral? As in which one someone would choose for what reasons?
Becca Lacek I have only ever used translucent extra coverage so I don’t know the difference so sorry about that but what I do is concealer, bronzer, THEN the coty extra coverage so that the bronzer looks natural :)

The Hourglass veil translucent powder has been a power player in my makeup bag. I have normal/combo skin that can be pretty greasy in the summer, and honestly, the HGVTP has helped me SLAY in heat, outside, and summer weather. It's definitely not a baking powder, but to set the skin it's amazing. It holds up really well.
Its summer where I am, too, and I used the Hourglass for the first? ish? time just the other day and I feel exactly the same way. Instant power player.

I absolutely trust her opinion so I tried it, and it is now my ONLY go to powder. You should try it, frfr.

This is so true. I try to avoid fragrances as much as possible because I’m allergic as well. However, there are some products with it that I can use with no problems...like Dove deodorants.

The Maybelline Fit Me powder is my FAVORITE powder EVER! Literally wear it as a powder foundation over a bit of concealer and it’s perfection for super light natural makeup. Looovvveee.

artsybirdy _ well for my personal taste i think it’s definitely pigmented enough. I just apply concealer (makeup revolution conceal and define) to any areas that i want a bit more coverage on and then apply the powder overtop and it’s perfect. If you’re into the natural “no makeup” makeup type of look i would totally recommend giving it a try. Honestly is my ride or die powder, I’d be totally fine never having any other powder!

Mel Thompson did a video a while back and she was upset because they not only changed the La Mer powder which had been her holy grail, but they gave you 1/2 the amount for an increased price! So - "reformulated", and 1/2 the product for a higher price - yeah, she was not happy.

Olga Zuluaga when did she mention that?? Because that doesn't really make sense . . . If she was that worried about it, she probably just wouldn't mention those products. Also, I've seen plenty of videos where she listed prices on the screen and they were outrageously priced . . . Like $195 primers and stuff. So I find that hard to believe🤷🏻♀️

If your skin is oily but you don’t have a lot of acne (me) I 10/10 recommend using the coty airspun extra coverage powder as a “skin tint/ BB cream” because it gives you a good amount of coverage without making you extra greasy like most skin tints do on me :) just a tip cause it’s cheap and I’ve been doing it for like a year!!
Tiana, can you please tell me your process on how you do that? I would definitely like to try that... Also, do you happen to know the difference between the translucent extra coverage and the naturally neutral? As in which one someone would choose for what reasons?
Becca Lacek I have only ever used translucent extra coverage so I don’t know the difference so sorry about that but what I do is concealer, bronzer, THEN the coty extra coverage so that the bronzer looks natural :)

The Hourglass veil translucent powder has been a power player in my makeup bag. I have normal/combo skin that can be pretty greasy in the summer, and honestly, the HGVTP has helped me SLAY in heat, outside, and summer weather. It's definitely not a baking powder, but to set the skin it's amazing. It holds up really well.
Its summer where I am, too, and I used the Hourglass for the first? ish? time just the other day and I feel exactly the same way. Instant power player.

It has been a true game changer for me. It beats out any powder I have ever tried! It's $14.99. I heard about it from Jasmine (juicyjas) here on UA-cam. I absolutely trust her opinion so I tried it, and it is now my ONLY go to powder. You should try it, frfr.

Melissa Ann yes,. You are never allergic the first time you use something, allergies can happen anytime after that. I am allergic to Some fragrances and.not others.
This is so true. I try to avoid fragrances as much as possible because I’m allergic as well. However, there are some products with it that I can use with no problems...like Dove deodorants.
peets96 yeah, I don’t have a problem with those either but I absolutely can’t do fragrance on my face. My skin is much too sensitive.
