- I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue and stoke anti-white racism, actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms enshrined in our Constitution, are hostile to people of faith and spirituality, demonize the police and protect criminals at the expense of law-abiding Americans, believe in open borders, weaponize the national security state to go after political opponents, and above all, are dragging us ever closer to nuclear war.
I believe in a government that is of the people, by the people, and for the people. Unfortunately, today’s Democratic Party does not. Instead, it stands for a government of, by, and for the powerful elite.
I’m calling on my fellow common sense independent minded Democrats to join me in leaving the Democratic Party. If you can no longer stomach the direction that so-called woke Democratic Party ideologues are taking our country, I invite you to join me.

I'm a former Democrat as of 5 years ago. The Republican party is not the same as it was 50 or even 10 years ago. It's not the monster the new Democratic party would have us believe. Listen to what Republic pundits have to say and judge for yourself. I'd recommend starting with Ben Shapiro and Dave Rubin (who is also a former Democrat).

I was a lifelong Republican that reregistered Independent 3 elections ago. One day I realized that political parties are the problem. The local GOP in Denver, CO decided there were too many uncertainties for their own elections that were on the ballot so they removed the straw pole when Trump came around. I should be able to make that decision when I was a party member, not the local GOP party leadership. I want someone who puts country over party. They aren't interested in the system that puts the people first, they are solely interested in keeping their respective parties in power, which does not serve the people's interests, just the parties. I would vote for Tulsi. I disagree with some of her political views, but she's honest and doesn't repeat whatever the leader of her party tells her to. When you watch 5 different politicians repeat the same line word for word, that means they are run by their party leader. I'm a veteran and when I voice this in veteran communities I get overwhelming support, though I know I probably won't on Cuomo or Hannity.
