Y'alls biscuits look delicious! Congratulations, Kim, on your success in biscuit making! Great job! I laughed out loud when you said your first biscuits came out hard and your daddy telling you they could use them for baseball practice. Made me think of a story my mother in law told. She and her sister in law were divorced and had started dating. Their boyfriends were hunters. They decided to go with their boyfriends to their hunting camp. They were going to make a big breakfast so the guys could eat when they came in from their big hunt. My mother in law found a bag of flour in the cabinet. She said she made THE prettiest biscuits! She went to take them out of the oven and she almost dropped the pan because they were so heavy! Her sister in law thought she was kidding around and told her to stop. My mil told her she wasn't kidding that the pan was really that heavy! Come to find out that flour wasn't flour. It was Plaster of Paris! She said they rose and turned brown and pretty like the real thing! She said they took the "biscuits" out into the woods and buried them! They had to hide that evidence! LOL!
Well I saw your mentor um Mrs. Lady from South Carolina, who swears if you turn your oven up to 500 degrees, your biscuits will bake in 5/10 minutes! She not playing 😂😂❤
Love to bake with people but any of my friends don’t like to bake or cook much. I am 73 and just now learning how to make biscuits and pie crust. I have baked and cooked since I was 19 but cooking all new things now. My mama was a good cook and baked a lot. I was more interested in dancing when growing up.😂 I still dance a lot and clog with taps. Sense I am retired now I have more time to bake and cook. But do all my outside work to and lots of flowers to work in. I live by myself but cook a lot for a friend . Love to watch both of you together baking or cooking . I will have to try your recipe instead of the one I am using. ❤❤❤
I love thst you ate still dancing. This is wonderful. How awesome is that. Love that you are trying new things in the kitchen as well. I have lots of non cooking friends as well. 😊💜💜💜💜💜
