You have got to have a place for yourself and the pond sounds great . Mr G didn’t do the supervision very well this time ❤

What backbreaking work, especially the bamboo! I'm afraid your dogs didn't really pull their weight. It's all very well lying in the sun and criticising, but it doesn't get the job done.! Come the summer though, you'll be relaxing in your exclusive part of the garden and marvelling at how much work you did and feeling proud of the result.

I think that it was awful the previous owners left all this rubbish in the garden for you, the new owners, to have to sort out, unless there was a reason why they did so due to ill health of course? It is so unfair that you had to get rid of it all I feel. What happened to your greyhounds's leg? Hope all is ok? Blessings from Jilly & Madge. xxx

It was a tip once we got through all the undergrowth, and we only saw the extent of how badly the bamboo was out of hand once two trees came down. We still find bits of glass in the border now too.

They ticked the box on the paperwork saying the property would be left clean and presentable but clearly had a different interpretation of that to me... Inside as well, unbelievably dirty in ways that take a lot of neglect to achieve.... Although superficially looked fine at first glance spent the summer gardening and cleaning 🙄

Ps the leg had a little cut but if it's not covered he won't leave them alone 🙄

@@theoldgitwatgames4640 I think it was so bad that the previous owners left it in such a mess for you. I hope that you are more settled now, and that garden looks so lovely for your clan?! xxx

Totally agree... I didnt know til I moved in as it was winter when we viewed the house. This is the 2nd time I've had to deal with it, so learned to remove every last scrap of root 🤣
