I was watching an older RT podcast - must've been somewhere between 180 and 200 - a few days ago, and in it, Gus admitted that he cried at the opening scene in Up. Now he says that the last time he cried was at Return Of The King, which came out a decidedly long time before Up. What is the truth, Mr. Sorola? What are you hiding from us? What else is caught up in this web of lies?
I went to Japan in 2016 and 2017 with less than a year gap in between. I've been wanting to go back so badly since then. I would definitely recommend going in a small group. I agree with Gus, the smaller the better. You need to keep in mind that a lot of the shops have very limited space
I’d like to go to Japan some day. I’ve never been out of the country since I live in Missouri, where it’s at least a day’s driving trip to Canada or Mexico.
Simon Katz One time I was riding with a friend in his truck, and it threw a belt and he lost power steering. I may be remembering wrong but im pretty sure he said it was the timing belt. But yah now that I think about it the T belt has to do with automatic shifting...right? lol
timing belt is for keeping time of the spark plugs with the piston compression so the spark goes off at the optimal time for most power and efficiency the belt could go around the steering pump as well. most newer cars have a a position sensor that keeps track of the crank shaft
Had a high school teacher who's parents named him Jon. When he was in middle school he asked his dad why. His dad said "Because I thought you would be too dumb to spell it the other way". That was his ice breaker first day of class. No one misspelled his name.
ive been blackout drunk many a time, but im an alcoholic. Ive been trying so hard to quit recently because my daughter is due to be born december 5th. its hard but i think im doing well.
The Tarantino movie had an intermission. The zombie one and the car one. But I guess those were actually two movies. When I saw it in theaters, there was an intermission.
Wait... shuffling is still a thing?! I remember that being a thing, like, 10 years ago when I was in high school (this is in Sydney) and everyone did it.
wow never thought i'd hear someone say they want to learn shuffling in 2018 lol thought that died in like 2012/2013? i remember it being everywhere at my high school, but i can see why she'd want to learn, it always looked like a fun dance so i hope she has fun with it!
Am I the only one who has deja vu watching the beginning of this where Bernie talks about the guy from the Cosby show having a job and then whatever Barbara says to comment on it is like exactly what they’ve both said in a previous podcast not too long ago? Idk might just be me.
Never really cared about my own birthday (or just birthdays in general) but a fun thing that's always been a great tidbit for conversation is that i can never forget my mothers birthday because we share it :D it's a one in a (think of a high number) xD And ofc peoples reactions are always hilarious :D
This is so weird.. last year me and my roommates found a bag of vomit in our freezer in the very back underneath a ton of stuff. None of us had any idea how it got there... was Chris in my apartment...?
I believe that Joe Jackson chemically castrated Michael Jackson because he was making him so much money as the adorable little kid with the high voice. It explains so much of what happened to him the rest of his life and his propensity for children and child-like things.
You've thrown a wrench into my beliefs. Joe Jackson had long since been dead and probably hadn't given him the medication for years before he died, so maybe Michael developed enough to have children, but the damage had already been done to his personality and temperament?
I take it you never heard MJ's natural voice. Look up the song "2000 Watts" he uses it there. He only speak in that high pitch so it is easier to hit the notes when he sung.
i cant believe that people can not cry for a number of years?? i literally cry 4 times a week AT LEAST. everything makes me cry. i cried for several minutes at the time lapse section of the last YDYD. i cried during bloodfest. probably cried during THIS podcast

so after you watch a movie, you arent allowed to rewatch it and cry again?
@@WiZArdx4s he says the first time he saw it
We can't let him keep getting away with it...
I'd like it if that guitar was still at the museum, smashed up in a case with that clip of it being smashed on repeat at the back of the display.
For the first 8 minutes I forgot Chris was there
Seriously same
Yep. I was listening to the podcast, then when I happen to look over at the video I was like, oh hey Chris is there...p
so did chris
Chris is one of the most underrated podcast members. Love that guy XD
I remember before the Xbox one came out, everyone was talking about how it would be called the Xbox 720
They should just call it Xbox and keep it nice and simple
@@slayo710
And what do you think they called the first ever Xbox?
I love that shade of blue and Becca's hair. It's kind of subtle.
there's a digital star that's been around for over 10 years and her name is HATSUNE MIKU
thought the same thing

3:40 Burnie predicting V-Tubers
you could say he predicted apple switching to usb-c 5 years ahead
That guitar was valued at $400,000 but was only insured for its purchase price of $40,000.
Being properly insured is a thing people fail to do.
Gavin brought his sister!?
Thats @elilie ( intentional non tag) not Becca. ;)
How much do you think she costs
JK

Chris your power steering might be starting to fail, or even your timing belt. 1000% get that fixed ASAP
could just be play in the steering rack.. timing belt wouldn't have much to do with steering...

100% the steering rack, nothing to do with timing belt.
You're dumber than the dude on the podcast lol
20:29 Chris said "XCube" but I initially thought he said "XJew" 😂
Who else excited for Becca on the podcast?
I was more excited for Chris! haha
meh
do they not know about hatsune miku aka Vocaloid?
Vocaloid still isnt very well known outside the anime community
audrey hepburn was for galaxy chocolate and Gene kelly was for VW, i also remember seeing Steve McQueen digitally appearing in a Ford Commercial
I drink, but never have been drunk. No desire to not be in control or not be myself
Q2 It's not like that for everyone, bud
htsune miku is an entirely computer generated japanese pop star.

41:25 the actual surgery is called an addadicktomy...... hope Barbara would be proud
Microsoft could call it the neXtBox.
Goddammit Barb!
I'm so glad they brought up drunk Gus from that Xtra Life 😂
Come for the Podcast...stay for Becca!
24:09 Chris never change 😂
I love Chris's laugh
make barbara and chris dancing an extralife goal
losing excitement about a birthday? Ha... haha... hahaha... but what if I never had excitement for a birthday? HAHAHAHAHA
At 48:20 i looked it up, laughed, came back and Gus said dont look it up.
A program to make people dance virtually - the only way I'd be dancing with others watching, ever.
We need a rt life of burnie gus matt and geoff going to vegas in a van like the time gus didn't want to go to vegas
Love these guys
The Tarantino movie had an intermission. The zombie one and the car one. But I guess those were actually two movies. When I saw it in theaters, there was an intermission.
This must be a parallel world. Gus WANTS to go to Vegas
Prerecorded!
... wait...
Is Pizza Sphere finally coming!?!

Becca with that Alan Resnick reference! _(p.s. the clay helps)_
AssDick was the name I gave my rival in pokemon as a kid...
Chris is onto something...
happy new year in a few months
If I remember correctly, the last time Gus cried was when he watched Frodo leave Middle Earth in Return of the King.
Cheese master should run for president
1:22:49 I relish the moments we get mention of their relationship. Like a time capsule of RT lore
29:30 Birthday Soup RTAA
Thank you
Points for the Megamind reference. Awesome movie!
I just watched episode 410, so funny that they mention the last time gus cried in that one too, 100 podcasts later
Am I the only one who has deja vu watching the beginning of this where Bernie talks about the guy from the Cosby show having a job and then whatever Barbara says to comment on it is like exactly what they’ve both said in a previous podcast not too long ago? Idk might just be me.
I publicly celebrated on a train when gus said he cried at the return of the King because its the exact same as me!
Becka has some badass eyebrows.
Never noticed how much Barbara and Becca sound alike! Its hard to tell who’s talking if you aren’t watching the video
The new Xbox shall be called the XBasket.
I looked up the pig picture. Had to. Was not disappointed.

My sister has the same birthday as our grandma. I don't think it's that uncommon.
30:28 so glad I finished my breakfast before Chris's story.
*Reads title*
Probably when he realized Kingdom Come: Deliverance was a success. XD
What happened with Gus and that game?
that game was horrendous
The Arbiter
Why was it horrendous? :(
Last movie I saw in a theatre that had an intermission was Gods and Generals
Does anyone know where to get that Lucasfilm hoodie that Barbara is wearing?
Gus called the Xbox coming out this year
There is also a Planet Hollywood at Disney Springs
Barbara is unsure if pumping a fellow racer's brakes is allowed? Like for real?
I mean I doubt they took the time to write that in the rule book
We know that Barbara and Gavin can't run for president
Are mile's japan trip videos posted? If so where?
I was eating lentil soup when I watched this :/ Thanks, Chris.
Chris, I think that’s the power steering, either your fluids low of pumps broken.
Listening to Chris struggle with words is both satisfying and frustrating
This is so weird.. last year me and my roommates found a bag of vomit in our freezer in the very back underneath a ton of stuff. None of us had any idea how it got there... was Chris in my apartment...?
Don’t look that up.Immediately goes to google and start typing.
"Obi-wan was wise to hide her from me."
Bernie left because they mentioned Vegas
Ive got a local cinema that always does intermissions
Maybe that motorcycle racer was 47 in disguise.
How tf did i not notice the couch ive been watching forever
joel is a poker player now. wow
Hooray, Becca!
You're not allowed to do that, are you?
Lololol
Gavin was right, becca's brows are on fleeeeek 👌🏼
Thinking!? about it now i reckon that Burnie Burns! would make a great Voice as Alf the Alien!
I believe that Joe Jackson chemically castrated Michael Jackson because he was making him so much money as the adorable little kid with the high voice. It explains so much of what happened to him the rest of his life and his propensity for children and child-like things.
That's a theory I could believe; makes a lot of sense logically...
You've thrown a wrench into my beliefs.

I take it you never heard MJ's natural voice. Look up the song "2000 Watts" he uses it there. He only speak in that high pitch so it is easier to hit the notes when he sung.
My music teacher said they used to practice that on kids back in the baroque era or something like that.
This is hilariously false. Michael Jackson was actually a baritone. He just made his voice higher. His normal voice was actually way deeper.
15:00 hi yes, that is exactly me
We were there since #142
Digital celebrtys do exist ex Gorillaz
Does anyone no that Japan used to have wolves with one of them being the smallest wolf subspecies in the world
Chris that might be your steering box
When they plugged the Hems ad and said people lose their hair at 35, I started losing my hair at 16, that's a total lie XD
With the dead celebrities thing, the first time I ever heard about that kind of thing was with Eminem. I think it's still a thing, actually.
Bring back Burnie for church's voice
rtaa the vomit story hahaha
BECCA!!! Yay!!!
BECCAAAAA yes
1:10:45 21st century in a nut shell
a local cinema i know put an intermission in Shindlers List, which i could live with seeing the usherette sent out to sell ice cream not so much
Where's the link dump
hatsune miku is a digital only star :D
