1:18 Olivia says "Time for someone new to die" as her killer sits right next to her staring off into space planning it in his head. Just realized that.
I think it would have helped in building the characters more. At least in helping us give a little bit more of a shit for them and being able to identify with them more
It's crazy how Oliva said it's time for someone new to Die and it end up being her. And her killer sitting right next to her plotting her murder . That's crazy
I would've been fine with this film being longer if they had more character developing scenes like this. It's sad that Bob Weinstein wanted to cut these scenes (as well as scenes that drove home the point that Ghostface is copying the first film). I guess he forgot that what made the first two Screams so different from other slashers is that it let us get to know the characters. A real shame, because had he not tampered with it, those scenes (as well as the biting social commentary, which is thankfully in the final cut) would've made this a far better film for repeat viewing (like the first two).
@@violentpuncher Ik I’m 2 years late but they deleted it because when Charlie says “One day, it will be.” It would foreshadow that Charlie is the killer because he says the exact same thing to Sidney when Sidney came to Olivia’s house.
Olivia easily had the worst (by worst I mean the most painful), but she seemed really cool as a character, even though she didn't have much screen time. And am I the only one that thinks she looks like Khloe Kardashian?
I love this scene, it should definitely be in the movie, it's like a homage to the first scream, and they could have edited that part when Charlie says "It will be" and then it wouldn't give anything away.
As much as I like this to be in the scene, it might have a big take away that Jill was never meant to be Sid as she is not in this epic homage. Proving the fact that Kirby is really the next generation’s Sid!
Hence, "the _unexpected_ is the new cliche" is finally fulfilled : Jill who was supposed to be the 'new Sidney' but turned out to be the true killer, therefore Kirby is the true 'Sidney' of this movie.
However that happened in scream 5 where we see Tara's friends reunited without her after her attack. So I don't see anything wrong with leaving this scene without Jill.
1:11 "Shut up, idiots!" I like how Trevor comes off in this scene. I think it could've been a useful clue that he's not actually the killer if he's been the one who's reasonable and doesn't buy into the "killer deliberately making a remake" thing
Olivia didn't mean to go out there and literally kill someone. It was more in a movie sense and she was meant to give off those vibes and be feisty like Tatum was.
Scream 4 is probably one of my favorite in the series, I do agree that there needed to be a bit more character development though. Especially if they gave Olivia a lot more dialogue and character, her death would've been a lot more frighting.
Like the original Scream. I can see why it never made it to the end. Jill not being there gave away too much. Also I like that they didn't show everyone in this friend group all chummy and that's the one time no one showed any real issue with Trevor being around.
This scene was good, homage to Scream's similar scene. But Charlie saying "It will be" kinda gives it away so I suppose I can see why it got cut. Or they could have just cut his stupid line out.
There's one plot hole. Kirby says that Sidney's character has been gone since stab 3 meanwhile the killer says in Scream 5 that Sidney was in every movie but the last one (Stab 8) so...
Well, since this scene was deleted, I guess it doesn’t count. Even when This movie says the new Stabs aren’t based on Sidney’s real life anymore, the character might have still shown up in them.
Kevin Williamson got this part wrong, Laurie Strode didn't die in her Third Appearance in Halloween, which is Halloween H20... She died in her fourth appearance, which is Halloween Resurrection.
Okay but the plot hole is why are the same girls who established these boys as dorks now hanging out with them by the fountain? There's no real tie to Charlie & Robbie other than Charlie liking Kirby and kirby stringing him along.....tell me I'm not the only one who to this day don't get it, like they couldvd written a better cohesive group format but ight then girl
They may have, but they never seemed like they truly hated them. They could have said things much crueler than the movie did and not all friend groups have everyone all so close. Kirby and Olivia didn't seem annoyed being with the boys and that specific scene showed them humor the boys so at the very least they were willing to put up with them and the girls also were horror movie fans so I don't think they care that much.
I truly love Kirby and Olivia because they’re both pretty hot and pretty sexy women oh and I truly miss the most it’s principal himbry from stab one of scream he was the principal of the school it’s a shame that he died in the first place
