Clementi's works are always worth studying. This collection of seemingly simple preludes and excercises could be coupled with a study of Schenker, the more modern musical theorist. One way to 'get the education going' anyway. Intellect and mechanics are not enemies of feeling and free thought, but often their helpers and sometimes their enablers.

Anzi, rispetto a quando andavo a lezione (e UA-cam non esisteva ancora) ora è sempre possibile confrontare la propria esecuzione con quella di un Maestro. E i risultati si vedono.
