The way the series handles relationships is sooo low quality. How Imogen and Chip were somehow envolved romantically is beyond me. It's the same for ALL the other relationships in the show: no chemistry, no history, no romance no nothing. It's just so plain and it feels like they were obligated to invent a partner for all the main characters and chose the most uninspired and plain ones. I mean just look at Kelly. How tf is she with Greg. Her dead sister was with him and suddenly, after her death, Kelly is with him? That sounds so sick and sociopathic, but no one seems to even question it. This show is 10% horror and 90% about characters and relationships. If they are this poor in the latter compartment, i dont think this show will grow any larger than the original PLL fans. (i bet that next season they will bring a "new guy in school" to couple him up with Imogen and Tabby will most likely continue her boring and illegal affair with Wes)
I think a problem with the poorly developed narrative is that because of streaming, many shows produced only have 8-10 episodes max. And because of streaming, more shows are released on a constant basis compared to cable tv, meaning that there is a less likely chance that shows will get renewed. So the writers were probably told to cram in as much ad they could. 22 episode shows need to be brought back 😭

Why did I think they were going to kill him! I would’ve liked it cuz then they would’ve had a secret fr
It's always the simp
🅰️didn't know it was CHIP, but why was he there? Also, when CHIP turned around 🅰️could have stabbed him then and there but when CHIP ran away 🅰️was just standing there waiting for a signal to kill and then TABBY and IMOGEN told him that CHIP’s the one that did it then that made him ran after CHIP.
A was essentially raised like an animal, so maybe he only went after Chip because the girls told him what he did and it reminded him of what happened to his sister? That's just my take on it.
I don't think A has a moral code of any sort. I think he's just use to taking orders. So when Imogen, and Tabby told him to go after Chip he did as he is told.
@@T-Rus that and Angela was also raped so that might have triggered A
@@luvprue1 to a certain extent I think he does have somewhat of a moral code or to a degree the girls told A at serval points to leave them alone and he never listened I believe A also gose after people that are specifically similar to the ones that hurt Angela
@@daredevil2382 agreed. Not gonna lie, I felt happy when the sheriff and chip got what they deserved.
I hate that they made his character evil. I was hoping to a have one decent guy on the show😩
Henry and Shawn and some of the dads like Faran’s are good guys (flawed yes but still good)so far and they better not change that 😭
@@cheesecakehoe5920 Ash too
@@cheesecakehoe5920 don’t forget ash and even Wes even tho his good is given off weirdly
So I have never seen the original Pretty Little Liars, but I understand there was a character named Aria. Imogen is giving her daughter to someone in Rosewood named Aria. Do we think it will be the same person? Granted I am not sure what happened to Aria in the original.
yeah in original sin Imogen said that she's giving her baby to aria and ezra (ezra was the guy aria ended up with in pretty little liars) and it was revealed that aria can't have kids because of medical issues
I was really really hoping it’s wasn’t chip but deep down I know😢
I always suspected it was him… he was just too perfect… i knew something was up with him so i wasn’t surprised at all when it was revealed to be him
@@MaddieScenepacks me either I was like yeah it was chip cause when they found those movie I was a 100% yeah it was chip
I really didn't like how Tabby instantly accused Chip. Yeah, she's was right, bit she start to think it was him just because it wasn't a football player and because her mother said "A lot of times its someone that you already know". Wow, and that's all for accusing your best friend of rape?
it was a fake call so he would either admit it cause he knew about the DNA thing or truly deny it
Eeeh. It’s probably because he gave off bad vibes before but excused them because they were friends. And then when she thought about him in that context things started making sense.
They killed off one of the only decent actors in this show.
Then again, the show is likely to go downhill in future seasons so maybe it’s best if he gets out now.
This show was giving me slight riverdale vibes when I first watched it. Then when I was looking at its Wikipedia page I see that the creator of riverdale is also the co- creator for this show 😭
He's stupid to admit what he did. They only had proof for Imogen...not Tabbys. Has he not watched an episode of SVU???
They were stupid to go and get a confession without taping it.
@@DavidKen878 It wouldn't have been admissable in court. Neither is the DNA from the blood drive but that didn't matter because Imogen was literally carrying proof. And there's also no evidence to say that they weren't. So curb your assumptions
@@violetrose674 1.) If they were taping it, they would have shown it. That's what they always do in tv shows.
2.) When they told Feran's mom they wanted to sue and she said it wouldn't be easy, they would've said right then and there they had a taped confession.
3.) Her being pregnant isn't proof of anything. The police can't force someone to take a paternity test.
I'll curb my "assumptions" when you use common sense.
I wouldn't call chip stupid more guilt ridden even if they were only going to take Imogen side because she had proof chip is still screwed
No one our under 25 usually watches SVU... I often feel left out that I love it, so yeah makes sense with him I guess.
What kind of a name is Chip? It reminds me of Brick from Insatiable... terrible name unless it is a Disney character but he has definitely tainted the name now. Chose a good actor for it... he looks completely innocent/non-creepy.
Chip a disney character?!! sega is gonna sue over disney for using the name without sega's permission
Everytime i hear the name chip i think of sonic
22 episode shows need to be brought back 😭
It doesn’t really seem like chip doesn’t even realize what happened for a second I’m not justifying what he did it just seems like he was trying to take advantage of drunk girl to feel satisfied for his sexual frustration I know it’s wrong it always tend to happen when you drink your inhibitions lower when you drink it all really fault of the alcohol that push those felling out to
You can’t excuse r*pe in any way. And besides chip has a stash of horror films depicting violent r*pe scenes stashed in his closet. So he probably had r*pe fantasies even when sober
Yeah but I’ve been drunk lots and I don’t rape anyone. When you do something like that it doesn’t matter what your feelings were. You can’t do something like this to another person.
girls drink all the time and do not rape people why with men there's this build in excuse
I did not like it, felt so fake
To be fair, chip's actor was on I am Frankie and he played a sweeter role
