Welcome to Perth. I'm originally from NZ but have lived in Perth for 43 years. This winter would've been one our wettest winters ever. I much prefer summer!! Not long to go.
Glad you enjoyed it Marlene. Nope, we’ve not been in lockdown for a while & no restrictions in terms of masks etc at the time of filming! Thanks for watching
Things most people won't tell you about moving to Perth from the UK, Perth has a higher annual rainfall than London. Love your positive natural energy. Your enthusiasm is infectious. Would love to see a vlog on things you weren't expecting or nobody tells you about Perth.
@@alrhodes5011 Perth's average annual rainfall is 733 millimetres, 70mm higher than Melbourne (663mm), more than 100mm higher than Hobart (614mm) and almost 200mm more than London's annual average of 557mm.
@@Groover1964 might be more liquid falling out of the sky, but it's nowhere near as cold and London has 150 days of rain per year whereas Perth is circa 100 days, so it depends on how you think about it
It's hilarious that people think the whole of Australia is like Queensland during our winter. Very few areas are like Qld! . SA, NSW, Vic, ACT, TAS and WA all get cold to bloody cold/freezing. The NT is a whole other kettle of fish, divine weather in Winter. I always feel sorry for people that have no idea and then get a huge shock when they arrive.
Still beats a Uk winter, Perth rarely gets down to 15 maximums, UK your lucky if it's 5 on a good day, and Aussie winters are short.
This was so cosy to watch! You are also adorable hehe
I’ve just found your videos and I’m planning on moving to aus from England next year so all your videos have been really helpful and entertaining!
Did you do the move to Oz?

Have you been to San Diego, California, USA, during winter? If so, which has a warmer winter, Perth or San Diego? I am curious.
@@shaneschambach932 never been to USA.
@@lianarussell8622 ah ok, thanks for replying.
Yeah such a weird year, so much rainfall, most unlike Perth and it didn’t really start warming up until December.
Perth for sure M8👍👍👍
Perth weather is Mediterranean. So winter has rain and summer is hit and dry . They do have more sunshine than England .
Hello I'm coming to Australia next month can you talk more on winter in perth?
I'll be in Perth very soon 😊
Morning too, wow Great Vlog. Thx for sharing

A lovely video of your day. I was just curious, I thought that Perth just came out of lockdown and face masks were mandatory…..

Try Toowoomba Qld winter. It’s like Melb. I’m in Sunshine Coast the sub tropical climate no winter blues
@@jasonwright9405 ah the sunny coast, my fave place to holiday during our Tassie winter. Yes, inland Qld is even bloody cold.
@@nataliekeane8944 inland Qld is cold 🥶 correct. I’m confused u in wa or tas atm?
