Crockpot is the best solution. In the morning you put your favorite meat, veggies and spices you like in, maybe water(or stock) if you want soup. Magically after 8 hours you have food that you can just leave in there on warm and eat on it until it's gone. OR if you go the soup route, infinite soup, where you start simple then when you have a bowl you add water and a new ingredient until it stops being a soup, then finish it off and start over again with something else.
