I love watching you drive Austin. I don't track my cars so I'm living vicariously through you! I sit in my chair and grit my teeth as you push those high speed turns and correct a soft spot on the track. Keep doing what you're doing and I'll keep supporting you with thumbs up and comments. You're one hell of a good driver!
Cautious with the car on track (understandably so), yet can still pass mostly everything else despite being on old rubber and brake pads. I think this very much shows the sheer capability that this car has, as well as Austin as a driver! Good stuff, man!
The car is capable but the driver is leagues ahead of the other driver he encounters. I don't think we can derive much about the true performance of the car given how good Austin is in comparison to the other drivers.
Again…watching a Corvette being used for the purpose for which it was built is the best way to wake up and eat breakfast for us out here in Hawai’i. We have no racetracks or any roads on which to enjoy a car like yours. Mahalo for being…my alarm clock! Aloha!
Okay. the car and driver are just killing it. Watch in the rear view mirror to see which car/driver can hang with the Zo6 the longest. And you know once the pass is made they want to try and keep up .... Awesome track video!
Don’t know what impresses me the most, the Z06, Austin’s driving or his you tube savvy that allows him to buy and drive these amazing cars. I am green with envy Austin!!
The U.S. auto manufacturers should've been chasing a variety of mid engine track hot rods for decades by now. Really happy to see the Covette get the change. Almost tempted to buy one.
I love seeing your lap tracker on the right. I find myself cheering for you when it's in the green and the numbers are going up and down. Such a great tool.
Nice to see you getting on some big tracks and using that beast for its intended purpose!!! And glad to see you partner up with Chevy. Keep up the great vids!!👍
First, thanks. This is fun from my chair POV. Second: I like when you have a display of the speed and gear involved. Third: Context. When other cars are on the track a better perception as to relative performance is more easily ascertained (By me). If this is an accurate portrayal of YOU, one can only hope for your success.
Just another awesome one. I love this track....never been on it haha, but I love all the high speed curves and straights...looks like an absolute blast........one day.
Last week there was a C8 driver fatality in LA, killing the driver of the other car also. Est speed was 120 mph at impact T-Bone and Destroyed the Vette cutting victims car in half. Sad. Tragic. Unneccessary. If you are fortunate enough and priviledged to have a C8 to drive... Dont lose your head when behind the wheel. Literally.
the best video you have done; was great driving and giving us the ride along. I liked that you were pushing the edge and did not back down. Great sounds, so exciting!!
600LT accelerates much faster and weighs 600-700 lbs less. Z06 has more downforce, wider/more sticky tires, and new tech. I'd say I will find out for sure on Laguna Seca ~ the grand equalizer. Will be there soon!
I assume that was a yellow ZR1 that Austin passed at 17:00. Looked like similar horsepower on the straight, but look how loose it's chassis was in the corner compared to the Z07. My-O-My Corvette has come a long way Baby!
Great video Austin, on one of my favorite tracks. Seemed like you were getting "close" to the Z07's terminal velocity on that long back stretch, 157! What did you think about the esses in turns 3-9? Also saw you flexing your hands on that back stretch, you need to talk to GM about putting some harness hardpoints behind the seats!
I love them. I learned I can carry more speed towards the end of my time out there. You can even see the gradual higher and higher entry speeds I carry into them in this video lap after lap. It requires trust with the car and track surface... hard to initially build I'd say. The steering just gets so heavy I have to rest my arms occasionally. I don't know why it is weighted like a brick in track mode lol!
Thanks for this video of the Z06 in action. I feel confident that I can go ahead and buy a more affordable model for cruising with my wife and still get my race track fix by watching this video. I figured you saved me $100K 🤑
Great content Austin! The car is a beast, we know this. Your driving capabilities bring everything out of that car, Chevy should put you on payroll Lol Keep up the awesome work, stay safe, God Bless
Hey Austin, great track video as always! Just wondering, do you ever use any of the sim racers to get a feel for a track before you head out in person?
Nice driving man. At 4:19 did the GT3 pull a Corvette move on you 😂 It looks like he pointed you by and then floored it lol. Granted he let you pass shortly after that
That car is a GM miracle. Best thing they ever made. I just sold my C8, and bought a Shelby GT500 CFTP, and I plan to one day get a Z06. I'll play with the Shelby for now. How long will my Cup 2's last on my Shelby on a track day I wonder? Were your Cup 2's on the Z06 done after this event? Thanks for the great video.
Try every eastern track you can. Do get drivers school. Your skill level keeps inproving and I wish the very best for you. Better seat and good harness will sure help on those high geee corners. Thanks for the ridealongs. Cameras and editing are great. Maybe look into patreon for additional funding.
Awesome Video Austin, love that track. BTW how do you get your car there? Do you use a trailer whether open or enclosed? Would love to know, since I am looking for one for me future Z06. Cheers
Austin, you have grown by leaps & bounds as a track driver, congratulations... Speaking of growth, my mom sent me 3 socks she'd knitted this last Christmas.? I asked why 3? She said last time we had spoke, I'd told her " I've grown another foot!"
Some very nice driving out there,,, and you know I wouldnt lie to you! So far I have only tracked on under 2 mile tracks. It felt like a real chore in the GT350. How is it different being on a bigger track?
May I suggest that you hold off your turn in on T7 for just a hair later, and have your right tires on the white line out of T6 as you approach T7. Excellent driving and footage - and audio. Love it. I would show this video to newbies wanting to learn this track via YT.
Seems like 4th and 5th gear are too long? Almost like the clutch slips a little when grabbing 4th and 5th at full tilt?? 2/3 upshifts crack hard then 4/5 upshifts are much softer. Thoughts Mr. Phenom?
So cool to see you using the car for it’s intended purpose. Keep posting these videos.

Your videos of the Z06 are the best out there Austin. TY for all you do and sharing it.

Amazing sounds and skills! Has my blood pumping for a trip to Sebring. What a machine (car and driver)
You can tell that you trust the car more each time you drive it! Well Done!!
It get my adrenaline running watching you chase and pass every car ahead of you. awesome driving Austin
Man that Some Great Driving Austin, That Z06 is handling AWESOME FOR U TOO, the Shifts sound So Good!!!👍🏼👍🏼🎈🍾😂🎉

Truly some of the best driving videos I've seen, keep up the great work! Impressive car!
That’s What A RED CORVETTE SHOULD ALWAYS LOOK LIKE
THIS GOOD, Man that’s just AWESOME!!!!
Love watching Austin pick off cars one by one. 🔥
I've been waiting for this one. I love these track vids

Even though I have never tracked any of my Vettes, I know a "driver" when I see one. Awesome job!
You need to join Team Corvette/Chevy!!
Keep up The Great track work!!
What A Car, That Z06/07 is Awesome!!!
Austin, every time I watch you at the track makes me more excited to get my Z06. I definitely miss Road Atlanta!

GREAT JOB Austin, keep up the great content.
The only UA-camr I know that uses the car for its intended purpose 🐿️
Loved the whole thing....
Great driving!
Great video, thanks for sharing. The Z06 has some balls and for a car nearly half the price of others is outstanding!
it rips... ready to see how the new zo6 shuts down compition.
Just another awesome one. I love this track....never been on it haha, but I love all the high speed curves and straights...looks like an absolute blast........one day.
It is a blast!
Glad you had a good session here in Austin
Great video. Tnx👍🏻
Austin you drive that Z07 absolutely amazing!! Very nice Driving vlog!!👍🏽
Great driving skills Go Austin Go!
Chases down EVERYTHING!!!!!!!
GT3 gives you kind of a weak little 'hand out the window' point by, then races you to the corner. jeez. Car sounds great, keep it up!
Haha! Everyone was just great! So fun!
Beautiful sounds …..
Even better than the last COTA! Go Austin & Z06!
if you start watching at 16:59 that pull and turn is so crazy and hard, no-slip full trust. crazyyyyy
Haha thanks!
Austin you rock! You make them other people who think their fast look slow in a stock Z06! Lol. Peace
The red Z06C7 on minute 4:22 its me!! Am I famous now?
Outstanding. Using your car for its intended purpose.
Red one I’m assuming
Great video, good use of the track have you thought about entering comp school. It's a Blast.

You and your Corvette are a great Racing Team 👍👍
Damn. Fast combo we got here.
How would the 600LT compare on the coda track against the Z06\Z07 assuming tires and brakes were equal ?
600LT accelerates much faster and weighs 600-700 lbs less. Z06 has more downforce, wider/more sticky tires, and new tech. I'd say I will find out for sure on Laguna Seca ~ the grand equalizer. Will be there soon!

Enjoy that car. Great driving.
Sir that was an excellent piece of driving just saying
More aggressive than usual! Very good driving

So many great Corvettes out that day!
Truly an amazing track car… wow😮
Great car, great driver, great video!!!!!🎉
Thank you Derrick!
Nice driving. You should mount a rear camera so we can see how fast you gap the guys you are passing.
Would love to see you on Thunderhill 3.2 mile!
157 on the last few laps Excellent driving!

wow, what a drive. 🎉i can’t feel what you feel. so my problem is throttle control. any tips?
...ah...finally the trailer arrives...trailering the car to the track is the next step in the evolution...soon...real road racing...
This is a race car period.
Hey Austin, great track video as always! Just wondering, do you ever use any of the sim racers to get a feel for a track before you head out in person?
Were the other drivers out there driving as aggressively as you or is that Z07 (and your driving) simply that fast?
What an amazing car
What great weather for COTA! How this dude isn’t in racing is beyond me….
Awesome job and great truck , trailer and car combo. Fun time I’m sure.
Austin
Great job on the podcast
Question for you about your transmission filter, have you changed it?
If so how many miles did you have on it?
Thanks
Awesome run.

5:36 DAMNN that mustang was putting power down
I'm curious, Are you going to get the new ERay ?

Hey Austin, Have you made any videos about the reliability of each one of your cars?
Where's the Ferrari that you chase down?
Awesome

I really appreciate your feedback
You need to do more drag racing bro! Kick some ass!!
are you able to easily measure brake pad thickness using a digital caliper?
Would the HTC be slower on the track?
Man you're driving that puppy. You've learned the car well
That mustang took that corner WIDE. He probably thought he was leaving a cars & coffee.
Best supercar vlogger’
max 180-190 oil is a REALLY GOOD
It must be a good car because you were sending it 😅
It's also funny that you are still passing people on your "cool down" lap, lol
This z06 has really aggressive track tires compared to the Ford the z06 are pretty much slicks
