Thank you for sub and new friend, We just met on Midwest Picker, Dave. I had no idea copper had different "grades". So worth to cut and clean before taking to scrab. Once a year around where I live is large garbage pickup and lots of scrappers pick up all they can.
Been here 300 subs!!Your gaining subscribers fast since your videos are so helpful and knowledgeable about making real money from items you find on the side of the road🤑🤑😎😎 Keep up the great work!

Found ya 👊🏻.. I tell ya what if ya one was looking for a good video about what to do with copper this is the one .. awesome trick with the sand paper .. great video.. I see that your a great teacher .. I can’t wait to see your other videos 👊🏻
Nova said I should check your videos out. I have been collecting scrap copper as well so this is good info. What's your favorite place to deal with in the area?
I take a lot of my stuff to Sarnia (like steel and aluminum because of distance) However, I will take my copper and brass to Zubicks in London....get better price
#1 and Bare sound the same ? I get the 1/16th rule but what else separates these 2 grades? I have close to 80Lbs of Stripped copper and it would be nice to know.
lucky me that we only have copper wier and copper pipes ;) but we also have copper and brass mix ;) so i dont have to bother to clean that much and also the red blue green coating collor, are the same as regular copper ;) great video ;)
Check those bulbous pieces off of the compressors with a magnet. They are line driers and about 80-85% of them have iron screens in them and dessicant beads that need removed to get clean #2 price. I just cut them out with a grinder. 👍♻️
@@Man-in-da-shed prices continue to rise and drop a little. Toronto was $3.80 and Sarnia was 3.45 the same day. I think it also depends on your scrap yard. If they can get away with cheaper, they will.
Your scrap yard is cheating all the customers then if it is only a 10 cent difference between clean and saudered...I would take to another scrap yard then. Whereabouts are you from? Maybe different in US
I guess different in the US. I know from other scrappers that certain metals and products are not taken at various yards depending on the state you live in@@wnytrashtrucks

Are you sure your volume is up, since I can hear the video. I also asked my wife to check on her device and she too could hear it. There are times I am sure I have to speak up, especially if I am farther from the camera
Brilliant clean up tips, I keep all my copper to stack ingots but these are great value adding tips for anyone taking theirs in, very interesting 👍

All clean
The sand paper would better if you wrap it around the pipe over it being on a block
I got $3.46 a pound last week, where are you at ?
London, On is $3.75 shop around. Sarnia is less...not sure why
Toronto and London are high priced, Sarnia gives around $3.40
That is weird how there is always such a big price swing, I cashed mine in Vancouver.
Today I was offered £4.70kg for Bright, equals 3.61C$ lb

At my yard it is a 10 cent difference between each level of copper.
