@@Jenga214 technically, they "fixed" it back in S11, it used to ALWAYS prioritize low ground, now it just suffers from it's abysmal horizontal range. You know, it has about 60% longer distance if you aim upwards or diagonally. Too bad it doesn't have a proper range indicator like Pathfinder got in this season.

I have clear memory of playing with friends. I was mid air, max speed, when I got bound and violently slammed to the ground. Like it latch on to me and took me to the ground. I remember because we all were surprised and didn't know that could happen

Ash's tether only has a circular radius when it hits the ground, when u throw it as them it's cylindrical so you have to try and aim it at them or hit them from the sides, cus it's easy to throw it above their heads.

I'm not saying that Ash has the best tactical, but it's pretty clear that you are supposed to throw it in the ground for close combat. You "predict" where the enemy is going to be and they would get stuck 90% of the time.
6:17 is a clear example. Put it in the ground, not directly in their body. Could help you to feel better in fights.

I throw it into the ground in my close range fights but sometimes it doesn't tether them so that 90% is very accurate lol. I think it just has a weird time of actual activation.

The speed changed stopped it from actually hitting close people but it’s useless long range so it’s a nerf. Ultimate is amazing but hard to use on low ground
