  • The BAU+ provides bushing signals for bushing insulation characteristics, partial discharge in bushings and transformers, and additional circuitry for noise filtering using Rogowski coils. The BAU+ sensors are ideally suited for use in power transformers, iso-phase bus ducts, and HVCTs. For over 15 years, Dynamic Ratings has designed more than 50 adapters and has flexibility to meet your bushing adapter needs. Learn more by visiting www.dynamicratings.com/sensors/bau-sensor

00:58 Warning: If any of the resistance measurements are not met, DO NOT install the sensor. Check the cabling of the pins and contact your Dynamic Ratings representative.
01:10 Danger: HIGH VOLTAGE Bushing sensor installation or removal must be performed on de-energized equipment that is safely grounded. Do not climb on top of an energized transformer for any reason. Follow safe work practices and procedures, codes, and regulations.
01:55 Caution: DO NOT force the adapter into the test tap. This could damage the bushing. If it does not fit, investigate the cause and contact your Dynamic Ratings representative.
