Make sure you do not take any prisoners. You get bonus energy from the "executed" prisoners. Never take prisoners as the Vampires, its where you get all your dark energy from.
@@ReformistTM No problem! Its actually in The Old Realms manual. I gave it a read after going dark energy poor multiple times and found that little tidbit.
Came back to ep 1 to comment to hopefully boost your algorythmn, but loving this series as usual. Been a binge watcher for years, first found you from your warband days. Your content quality has done nothing but increase. Keep it up, Reformist!
Lorehammer nerd here: This is actually a feature of the Necrarch dynasty of vampires. They are absolutely butt fugly because of how deep they imbibe dark magic, being sorcerous nerds. They usually don't care too much, though, since they're more concerned about acquiring knowledge, and get so lost in the sauce that they can end up literally disconnecting with the material world. Still, if you think that's ugly, just wait until you look up the Strigoi. King Kong and Nosferatu thrown in a blender, those guys.
11:35 you didn’t lose any skeletons that was your summons . Good strategy to use summon skeleton to weaken a stronger front line then have your real army come as a hammer to finish them off
I've been following you since your Prophesy of Pendor's long plays, I'm glad to see you after all these years still rocking with your charming voice Reformist :)

Hel Fenn and hunger woods are the places you can spend your dark energy, either to empower your troop or recruit wraiths also vampires and wraith cost dark energy upkeep, vampire and mortal require gold, and skeleton troops are free
The magic capacity is a good one, especially if you go into Rougery, as Rougery increases Battlelloot, making you a lot of money and Vampires having more than one school can resulting in enough winds to cast another mass deletion spell per battle.
18:30 ... More of a pincer attack then Divide and, conquer. Divide and, conquer would be more along the lines of Kiting their army in different directions with a few smaller diversionary forces while your main force picks off the now isolated groups of the enemy's army. With 6000 men, It's easier to fight ten, 1000 man army's separately, then it is to fight one, 10'000 man army all at once. Essentially the idea is, when fighting an equal or larger force, you break them into manageable smaller forces resulting in less losses for you.
My main thought was that one group of our army takes on the enemy archers while the other attacks the frontline. This "divides" the opponent, making it easier to eliminate them. I'm using a term such as "divide and conquer" more for dramatic effect as it is, because these are, essentially, some of the weakest units we can fight in the mod :)
@@ReformistTM It certainly "Divides" their attention. That's for sure. I'd be using them in the same way. Drop that summon right in the middle of the archers before they get the chance to form their line. :)
to your point about the one wind for every spell known, i just think this skill is in the wrong spot. you have access to 3 lores including the minor magic, 8 spells per lore, so actually it gives 24 winds when maxed out, but cannot possibly max it out yet, due to skill and money constraints. later this skill is actually over 2x better than the other skills +10 winds.
Necrachs are kinda like Nosferatu mages, great spell casters and Necromancers but in melee they get destroyed, obviously you dont have to follow that kinda stereotype
Necrarchs can still be dangerous in melee. They are still stronger than an adult human. And they do not tire or have to deal with fatigue. They also don't have too feed as much as other bloodlines do because they use magic to stave off the thirst. I don't really remember what the necrachs main drawbacks are. But yeah they aren't as dangerous in melee as other bloodlines. But that doesn't mean they are a piece of cake in melee.

@@ReformistTM Once you get bigger spells, the perk give decent xp for roguery.

I didn't realize that all the thirsty phlebotomists were so ugly. Looking forward to this series!

High armor weight slows your winds regeneration. The Von Carstein Vampire has an ability to ignore this so they would be your heavily armored caster.
Necrarchs are Vampire "Mages", as in they devout themselves to magic more heavily than the other bloodlines tend to do.

A good Perk in medicine for Necrarch is Doctors Oath, so you end up with more Prisoners to sacrifice.
Next vampire needs to be Barnabas Beartilde
Missed opportunity to call him "Blad the Impaler"...

Skeleton summon is way to powerful
Cast the skelis behind the enemy so your force comes in behind the enemy
Yes I did that :)
18:44 its you taking damage that lvls your medicine i think.
Ahh thanks! :)
It’s time! Dance a Danse Macabre
Ghost reference?

Absolutely! I just think that the gold investment would be insane for such a gain.
@@ReformistTM early game, i totally agree, late game gold doesn't matter at all.
That's why i say this skill is in the wrong spot, it should be tier 3
