The part that sends chill down my spine everytime is seeing Sougo's sword shake. One of the strongest and most fearless characters who's been built up throughout the entire series as a super sadist with a penchant for battle and before he could even see Utsuro his body was telling him to "RUN".
You know a guy is dangerous when in a minute he almost kills a top-class assassin, hits a Yato like a rag doll and makes a battle proven sadist feel fear.

I haven't finished watching yet so don't spoil me but imho when I watched farewell shinsengumi arc and Gintoki fought with Utsuro, it felt like, the only reason Utsuro might be considered stronger is the fact that he is immortal, if he were not, Gintoki actually beat him then and there, he just stood up again because he is immortal. Now, as for Hosen, Gintoki had harder battle with him for me
Sorry but you all wrong, In fact, all manga villains wear a mask, and when they take it off the truth is revealed! The greatest villain of all time... KONO DIO DA ! (ahahah jk of course, but it's sure he is on my top 3 villains ^^) On the other hand in One Piece the best character it's Mihawk, that's a fact, it's like the speed of light, it's a constant ! P.S : This opinion is totally objective, please don't pay attention to my nickname and my profile picture 😅 And personally on Gintama, I'm a huge fan of Hosen. His theme and his battle with Gintoki... I think it's one of the few times when, even though I knew they were going to win, I wondered if the hero would win/survive... (It's a shame apparently they deleted the youtube video of Hosen's theme, the uploader had put the perfect picture to show us how desperate this fight was...). And Hosen has a big advantage over all the other villains... It is in his arc that there is the Kunai scene! !! (I literally cry with laughter every time I see this scene 🤣)
