I personally love the voice of the creators & that is why Soakstream has been my "go to." I don't think I can get used to this impersonal formal sounding voice. Too fancy. Yuk. Soakstream was uniquely pure & soothing. This makes me feel like I'm in a formal lecture where everything must be stuffy & perfect pronunciation. It sounds mechanized. Please don't change & become like all the other apps. I can't feel restful with all the formality of mechanized sounding voices.
@@petersonkr1023 while I understand that change can be hard and sometimes, we get so comfortable with what makes us feel good, just remember there are many videos with the original voice. I think adding new voices is good as long as they continue to use our favorites :) Godspeed.

Three weeks ago I posted a comment where I spoke of a financial problem. I don't know if anyone prayed for me, but if you did, you need to know God heard your prayers and He answered in Power! It has all worked out better than I could ever have imagined. Not only was I put into a simple repayment plan, I was told that because of my work history and experience with a certain school I attended, I might qualify for other help as well.
I got myself into this because I failed to discern my Shepherd's voice many years ago: As a result, I ended up desperately needing Mercy -- I have received both Mercy and Grace from my Father in Heaven and today I have peace, restored joy, and new hope for the future. God is so Good! Thank you, Soakstream, your ministry has helped me grow in trust and obedience. "Praise be to our God, Who always causes us to triumph!" Amen.

That is a lie. Once upon a time, I also believed that lie. If the Lord didn't love failures and "mistakes" I would not be here now. Talk to Him directly about those feelings and keep listening to the Word. Pour your heart out to Him, and ask Him to make Himself known to you. When Jesus died on the cross He died to pay the penalty for all our sins. If you have not yet received that forgiveness, you can talk to Him about that as well. Start there. At some point, you will realize that this is a call to believe, not to feel. Our feelings can lie, the Lord never lies, and a broken and contrite heart He will not despise. God bless you.

PLEASE HEAR ME. Ive listened to Soakstream for years & loved it. I like the beautuful voices of the husband & wife creators.
This voice is so formal sounding & not the same unique beauty that made Soakstream special. It seems like it is a computer generated or AI voice. If thats the case then SOAKSTREAM will be just like all the other impersonal Bible apps that I dont like. I always told others of Soakstream because it was so humble gentle, personal and human. Im sad that Soakstream is going this route. Does it have to be such a formal sounding voice? It is like a narrator, not a human. Im so sad about this change. At least find a 'normal' vouce and not this fancy one please.

No this is not an AI voice. This is the first time we have searched for another person that is anointed in reading God’s Word to join us, so that we can add Accent options for people, representing the beauty and variance the Lord has created in cultures all over the world. We think he is a great addition to the team and that he reads peacefully and passionately and with conviction, and will be releasing videos with his readings sometimes as well. The app will have all of our voices as options as well :) that being said, I totally understand that some people like one voice and some like another, lots of people love mine and lots of people don’t. That is bound to happen. I hope that our videos will continue to be a blessing to you Peter :) we love having you here with us!
