I remember Flos Headford telling me he wrote this to follow on from the Gallopede hence the set on an early Old Swan Band album.

I set behind Flos on a bus once. I started playing Tannerman on my box. He put his arm up in the air to acknowledge my tribute without looking back. It was one of the warmest memories I have of playing English folk. He was always warm and welcoming at sessions. I miss those days.
