I have the Blumo. Its a keeper. The green was my second choice. These wear great. Doesn't hurt that I am a larger Caber Tossing guy with an 8" wrist. Cheers from Atlantic Canada
@@perfectwrist23 Hehe. I have no green watch. Yet. I think I would love to have a Seiko Alpinist. Green and gold. Both colors I am not a fan of but the combination could be great.
@@perfectwrist23 Oh my god. I will end up in hell. It’s your fault! I just ordered the Alpinist. On Chrono from Japan. O_o No worries. I was having this lady in my mind for three years. Always struggling with do it or not. Hey, my first green watch. Yay!
Funny that I got another comment at almost the same time mentioning the size being too large. I think they wear well. Likely the turtle would be the ideal size
6:04 Tastes differ and you might like a large watch, but to my eye it's too big for you. Presumably the nickname Sumo is a commentary on the fact that it seems to be intended for giants.
Sumos are probably the most underrated and under-appreciated Seiko divers. Thanks for giving it some love. My preferred edition is the Gen 2
Thanks for that. Agree! I've worn mine for a good while and appreciate everything about it. EVERYTHING
I've owned this watch for around 4 years now, in fact I bought it in lockdown. Cracking diver from Seiko and it looks just right on you.
Hey thanks. Good feedback
Thats a fabulous looking Seiko. What a beauty it is.
Greetings from Morocco
Thanks. Greetings from UK.
I have this same watch. Its stunning at sunlight
Yes. Thanks for watching
same here bought it a year ago, as and advice if you are gonna use it, use it a LOT of time because that is the best way to get it running better
@@255pop agree with that. The 6R movement needs it

Great choice! Love the blue. Thanks!
A little bit too green for my taste but yes, nobody beats Seiko talking about design! Have fun with this beauty! 🕐⚙️🍸
Hey thanks....I have very few green.....but the value pre owned.

Hahaha. You'll love it......I've had alpinists on my watchlist for months
This thing came yesterday. I swapped the annoying leather strap for a PU strap after two hours. This watch is pretty ugly but I love it. :D
Believe it or not i can sport a current gen sumo on my 6.3 inch wrist and not look out of place . Seiko is really brilliant it terms of case design.

I am actually into smaller case sizes but do get impressed by larger watches hugging the wrist. It's under cuffable.....
