🚨 Alert: I slept in my clip ins for a while, some years ago, and one day I found bald spots in the back on my scalp!!!! It did not hurt. God blessed me and my hair grew back in the areas where I clipped them on. It was scary. I hear that some ball spots scar so that the hair does not come back.
Yea I use to keep my in for like 2 weeks when I was using them on straight hair and I got a little bald spot in the side that’s why I started unclipping the ones I can feel and so far so good lol

I bought these clip ins. At first they were beautiful! Match my hair texture well. SOFT! HOWEVER!!!!!! I WASHED THESE BAD BOYS ONCE AND IT TURNED INTO DREADLOCKS. I WAS DRY DRY DRY!!! I WAS SOOOOO MAD!! PLEASE SUGGEST WHAT I should do to refresh this hair.

I also have these clip-ins but I run into problems with them staying put in my hair since I often install these on freshly washed hair with product, any tips?
I have the same issue when I apply on wet hair 😩 but they blend better when they dry with your hair. So some pieces I clip on the hair just above the area I parted. So I part a section, pull the hair down and instead of clipping on the actually part, I clip a little bit up on the hair that I have tied out the way. So when you make your next section the clip is connected at that root but it’s folded under that hair. I hope that makes sense lol I might have to do a video 😆

Also why sleep in the extensions ? You can’t just clip them on when you wear them to avoid damage ?
Because if I take them in and out messes up my curls and I would have to redo my whole head every day. If I’m going to put them in I’m going to get at least 3 days of wear. I’ve been wearing clip ins for 10 years and when I do this everything is fine

i have been wearing curlscurls kinky curly clip ins recently and they are soo good! if you're looking for a cheaper alternative i would recommend those

They’re about a 1b like a natural dark brown
I’ve had mine since December I have them in right now but they only come in the color 2 and I’m a 4 and I can’t bleach hair so I’m over here trying to blend it but ughh wish they were a 4 would blend so perfectly!!
If you’re scared of bleach just use a developer either 20 or 30 volume… it should lighten it about one shade without damage just watch it

Did you experience a lot of shedding? I got these, LOVE the texture but they shed like crazy.
When I let them get crazy dry and matted yes... like this time I did because I just had them balled up in the pouch 😩. They don’t seem to be getting too thin though

I bleached them because my natural hair is lightesh brown so they were like a number 4

I have way too much shrinkage for this to work for me
They have clips for all textures and curl patterns. Rather than attaching the clips to loose hair, try braiding all of your hair up and leave a little out in the front ( like leave out for a sew in). Attach the clip- ins to your braids. That way you will only have to refresh your real hair daily in the front and you don’t have to worry about so much shrinkage all over. 😊
