Oh my lord…this review is so wrong…Harsh Reality Pearl is way stronger then the Effect. The Effect just gets cleaner through the fronts then the HRP which creates a more Left to right motion. Thats just another guy confusing strength of bowling balls and not understanding strength…if you were to get on 30 mils of oil with both balls the HRP would read it better then the Effect. On a house shot yes the Effect will look better cause it is cleaner reserving more energy for the big Left to Right motion. Better comparison would be to the Attention Star than the HRP.
i really like and enjoy throwing brunswick brands but burnswick is gonna have a hard time beatting or making aball better then that hammer effect.
They would be competing with themselves lol
Attention Star…. IMO is still the best ASYM Pearl out there.. I don’t just automatically go with the newest ball on the market…
Great video. I am just getting back into bowling after not bowling for 7 years. (3 hip replacements and 1 knee replacement) I had a 215 average when I quit but now that I’m 65 I think I need to switch to 14 pounds, can’t get the speed up or keep my hand under the ball, seems to heavy. Have been debating on the Hammer effect or the Brunswick Vaporize. Seem fairly similar.

I think you would like the arctic vibe. It is a strong hybrid . I bowled the jackpot classic this last year and the year before at the Orleans hotel and casino and my dad got it and I threw it on the fresh because they reoiled after the last squad and granted the lanes are older and react closer to wood which I love but they changed oil patterns and oil type before the tournament and they went with a long but light oil pattern and I stood 20 with feet and got it to 10 with a weak ebi overseas magenta urethane hammer (the old one not the new one). With the vibe I stood 32 and I do drift 5 boards and I drifted back and finished on 33 or 34 and got it to the 5 board and it came back harder then any ball I have seen. They only had a heavy 13 pound vibe because they were out of the 14 pounders. Sorry this is long but I think you would like the arctic vibe.

You don't need to play on dry conditions to sell your balls. Any ball will react on dry.play on on shots.

I've had to move to shiny balls because my bowlero now uses almost no oil, after two years of learning to bowl on a gigantic oil spill. Both of these balls seem good in unpredictable conditions

How many games do you have on the Effect? I'm betting 2x or 3x more than the Harsh Pearl. The Harsh will have a stronger shape with more games, lane shine, etc... Yes we like the cross-brand comparison. P.S. I am Storm equipment-biased and just told my guy yesterday to order me the Harsh Reality Pearl...🤦🏾♂️ It's to Compliment my Harsh Reality Solid of course

As far as big asym pearls go the HE is far and away better. It doesn’t puke down lane. If you leave a corner pin you can make the minor adjustment and it’ll drive and finish. Friction response on the big asym pearl storm equipment is… mmmeh 🤷🏿♂️

I don’t even think the harsh reality is the best spi pearl let alone on the market. I think the attention star, coil and VEBO are all better. Attention star being the best and most proven

Nope! I dont have access to Swag balls
My only problem with the b7 brands is that I throw 16lbs and the cores for their lines can be vastly different from 15-16. The effect, envy line and BW line get so much weaker in 16lbs. SPI has much more consistency from 15-16 except for a few exceptions.
This all being said, the envy tour and BW 3.0 are staples in my bag
All I am gonna say is that the cover is what actually touches the lane not the core
@@LuisNapoles yes but losing .010 diff definitely makes a pretty big difference in hook potential. I’ve thrown black widows in 15 and 16 lbs and the flare difference is pretty crazy.
Well considering I already bought a Hammer Effect, and that no one else on UA-cam seems to be overly thrilled with this Pearl Harsh Reality, I"M HAPPY! LOL!

The Hammer Effect is so versatile and though it's stronger than the Harsh Reality, you can still move in and get steeper angles to find and handle the oil versus the Harsh Reality is so smooth, i'll be afraid that i couldn't move in as deep or steep. Harsh Reality off of your hands, looks like it'll be a good transition ball. Thanks for the video, keep up the good work

So is strength of a bowling ball being measure by backend movement or overall hook? Just curious what you like to see ball motion wise? More backend on everything or smoother reactions?
I prefer smoother motion typically but strength is measured front to back not side to side
