- Hello there! Today’s decorating inspiration is in my entryway. I have a beautiful oil painting that I purchased years ago, had custom framed, and have used throughout my home. It is currently hanging above one of my entryway tables and has vibrant colors that will be the inspiration for my spring décor. My goal is to create a warm, inviting space to welcome friends and family into my home this spring. I encourage you to find one piece of home décor that stands out to you and brings your creativity to life. Use this piece to find the color palette for your home. And I always encourage you to invest in home décor you absolutely love like I did this oil painting all those years ago. When you do that, you will get a lot of use and joy out of them and that is priceless.

It is such a pleasure to see your decor style. It can be tiring and boring to see quite a few channels having only neutral colors and quite a bit of the decor can be seen on most channels. There doesn’t seem to be any personality in most decor. Yours is a breath of fresh air.

My tip for making faux look more realistic is to cut some of the stems shorter. Everyone seems to leave them all the same height. Its just not realistic. I even see people do this with bouquets from Trader Joes....they are beautiful , but lack depth and dimension if they are all at the same level. The eye needs to travel ... not just look at the top of an arrangement. Loving the pop of color with the bunny pillow and throw. And the little side table vignette is adorable. The brass planter was a total score! It really brings light and reflection to the space.

Lesa you decorated those spaces just beautifully! Love all those florals and yes that blue bowl with those gorgeous flowers was most definitely worth the price, it would have been twice that or more already premade at Hobby Lobby.

I purchased the oil paintings 20 years ago when we moved into this home from a vendor set up in the gas station parking lot of all places! I took them to Hobby Lobby for custom frames. Hey! It is great seeing you. The nesting eggs were purchased from Hobby Lobby like 15 years or more ago. If you search on Ebay you can sometimes find them.
