Chicken fried Rice recipe
Ingredients List
--------
500g boneless thighs
1 tsp oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp parsley
1 tsp paprika
2 eggs
1 tbsp oil
2 cups cooked rice
2-3 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp ginger and garlic paste
2 tbsp oyster shave (optional)
Veg of choice
Spring onions

She’s not removing the egg whites, she’s removing the white fibre which holds the egg yolk and egg white together. West Indians generally refer to it as the ‘egg eye’. I think the proper name is Chalazae. When I’m preparing a batch of eggs for a recipe it takes me ages to remove them all. I find they keep slipping back into the mixture so it takes several attempts to get them all out. I couldn’t eat eggs that contained those white fibres. Yuk.

I tried this recipe and it didn’t taste nice.
What happened?
Why not leave your cooked chicken in the pan while adding the rice? When you transfer the cooked chicken out of the pan onto a plate and back again, you lose some of the precious juices from the chicken. I'm just sayin'
