In this video, I'll show you one of the most dangerous scams in crypto and how to identify it.
With crypto bots on the rise, it's important to be aware of scams and how to avoid them.

My favorite part is that UA-cam is SPONSORING these scams.
UA-cam is part of that crime... It promotes videos with scam, YT takes part of the profit and it doesn't remove videos/channels when those are reported as scam. Anyway, UA-cam is really slow to delete these channels and it is profitable business... 😞
The scammers pay to advertise their scam and UA-cam allows the scammers to delete any negative comment on their video. $90,000 can pay for a lot of advertising and fake comments and followers.
Right. It means youtube is also making money from these videos as well. Shame..

Interestingly, UA-cam just recommended scam videos on my homepage.
Yep it recommended it to me too and the video was even "unlisted" so it couldn't even be selected when reporting the scam on there channel page. Wow, what is that about? When is the last time you have been recommended an unlisted video? If you're like me it's a first.

I was literally seconds away from purchasing $2000 dollars worth of ETH and then running the MEV solidity bot code. But my intuition told me it was too good to be true. Did some research and found this video. So glad I didn't. I can't afford to lose that much money right now. Thank you for the warning. It's terrible that UA-cam is recommending these videos to people.

No real mev script is ever released to the public. Think about it. Why would they let their cash cow be public???
Having seen ads for this scam, lead me to your video and I checked on that address; they just pulled the money out on 3/17 to another wallet, they got $190k in total from this scam. Very sad.

Thanks for making this and walking through the code. Unfortunately I fell victim to this exact scam video you went over just a few weeks ago. Thought I did enough research to make the right choice and get into ETH trading. Luckily I went in with only the minimum asked, so it wasnt a huge lose. But it was definitely a hit to my ego. Lesson learned.

I also saw a video about passively farming ETH. All commenters wrote this worked so well. But if this worked, just everyone would do it and nobody worked anymore. So this clearly can't work

Wish I had the sense to check out vids like these yesterday. Got scammed for 1 ETH by a similar video. Set up the 'bot' etc. And it took a while before I realized that my ETH was routed to an internal transaction, ending up in someone's wallet ...

It’s a bad thing to happen and you feel stupid and angry at the same time. But there are ways to recover them I’ll make a video about it
I would never use ChatGPT or similar to generate Solidity code to do arbitration, the output is full of bugs at the very least.

Thanks for posting this. I had seen some videos about these crypto bots and didn't know anything about it, fortunately this video was among the suggested videos on one of them. One surprising thing I noticed about many of the commenters is that they don't appear to be new accounts, these look like legitimate users some of whom have been posting videos for years. I am guessing it could be stolen credentials or there are armies of bots for hire either way scammers are getting increasingly sophisticated it seems.
I legit saw a sponsored video for one of these that popped up on my feed. It looked wayyy to good to be true, so I had to look to see if it was legit or not. Your video popped up and I am very appreciative. 🙏

Thank you for making this video, I lost about $120 about three years ago, these videos have been around for a while. Not a lot, but could have been prevented nonetheless.
If anyone saw this video, remember the first two video was also a scam, just checked the code, dont ever press the start button it will automaticly transfer the money that you put in ur contract address. I believe since Merunas update this video, they update their way to scam just changed some parameter.

I felt for that scam couple of days ago and lost $1000. Interestingly I was not looking for any sort of this kind of videos, I was scrolling on X and stumbled upon one post from a guy talking about AI and how you can you use AI for what you have mentioned in your video. After I click the link in that post, it directed me to a youtube video with a guy explaining exactly what you have said except he showed his face on the video and I fell for it.
One question is: Is it safe to use my wallet again? Is there something I need to do to disconnect the code from my wallet?
if you shared your private key or seed phrase your wallet is compromised and it's not safe to use again

When something seems to good to be true you have to know it’s a scam
every time i find a quick way to make absurd amounts of money, my head swaps to scam mode, I looked through the video through everything and to be honest besides the comments it seemed legit, so i thought id just look up if a scam like this exists, thank you for being a good person and instead of just making big cash just informing others to stay weary

A few comments. I saw those videos and reported them to youtube. There are a couple of things to look from the channels
1. They have the scam video that is nicely edited and looks legit. But they include other videos on the channel with fancy titles and thumbnails to look like a legit channel. When you check the other videos they look completely fake. That is when you will realize the whole thing is a scam but the scammers are hoping that you will just check the titles and go back to the scam video.
2. When you check the comments they all come from accounts that were created on the same day. I was seeing Dec 13, 2023.
I hope those that lost money can recover it.

How do you easily fall for it? I have no interest in Crypto nor know much about it but when UA-cam (or any big company/creator/etc) start advertising "Make 1.3 ETH A DAY USING HERE!". You have to really wonder how legit it actually is. It might just be my cynical disposition towards a lot of shit in life but even then I know it just absolutely HAS to be a scam. It's literally a "Too good to be true" type scam.
People are blinded by greed, they fall for it all the time

I think they are adding more nuances to the scam, they've started to use real people now or at least really convincing AI avatars to present the content and the comments section seemed more natural. Can see loads of people falling for this unfortunately.

The first video I saw of these scammers I got tipped off by reading all the bot comments. Take care and don't fall for these scammers.

I was very suspicious when I saw a suspicious guy in the video, it looked like it was made by AI. And most of the comments were made on the same days, a pattern. I thought there might be a snippet of code where the bot sends its balance to the scammer.
They are made in AI
why couldn't a person analyze the code and change the address? or does the code actually do nothing apart from send the fee to the hidden address... interesting experiment to try

what if you made the wallet address yours? Would the bot transfer the coin to the proper place? They have the receiving address broken in 5 spots in the code what if you change it to your wallet? Would it work on doing the MEV function?

Almost fell for it, good thing the deployment was 10X what shows in the video so I started digging. Is there a legit contract that can do those functions? Is it ethical to run such a contract? Meaning does it hurt other users? The idea itself is brilliant.
There are no contracts that work by themselves. You need a program that would interact with the contract that's what makes an MEV bot work. But 99% of those on the internet are scams
i gave chatgpt the code the scammer share to analyze, and gpt said the code is used for trading and arbitrage, and i asked gpt is the code anywhere looks scam? and gpt couldn't find any suspicious code, insane....
I thought that I never fall for this kind of scams or any scams, but here I am 907€ poorer. I feel stupid, but what the hell.. after I pressed "start" I started to check more info. Events in the wrong order..Couple bad nights incoming :D

Hi thank for this video! Too Late for me but great video. So here is may situation and wanna know if anything is possible to retreived a part of my fund. Let me explain. At first i transfert/execute the scam bot to send 0.7ETH and it was stolen by the scam contract. But here the catch, after my first transfert, i was trying to withdraw and received a message: '' need more ETH for GAS fees'' So from my metamask i transfert directly to the contract address about 0.5 ETH. So my question is is there any chance to retreive back the last 0.5 ETH because this one appear in my balance on the contract. Maybe because i have not tranfert trough the bot i can have hope that a withdraw can be possible??? Thanks in advance for your point of view.

The only way to know if a bot is legit is by checking the transactions it made on etherscan

@@merunasg I saw 3 mev bot ads past 2 days on UA-cam (so much scams on yt) they all say the same thing all (word for word), the hundreds of comments have Indians names like u stated. And a lot post at the same time...so many red flags and ppl still fall for it :(. I did my best to spam about the scam and warn ppl but I'm sure there are more fools our there ready to hand over their hard earned money to these crooks.
Ngl im pretty smart and i almost fell for it cus of how they seemed like they were warning ppl about scams.... within the scam.... 🤯 Shame.
