I think you've done amazing with this challenge. Just shows what you can do if needed. We eat plant based (2 of us and 2 pups) and it's not cheap, but meat is very expensive so we definitely save there.
Yep you gotta do what works for you - you work at home so going out is another thing for you - I'm already out so it's part of my day. We eat very basic as you know so for us I use markdowns to meal plan.

I also have a family of six plus 2dogs in which we cook their meals from scratch and also spend about $450. However if I need to save $100 per I probably could but I do like to go without. Instead of chicken ;burgers in wraps I use Woolworths chicken tenders work well I do mayo tomato and lettuce. My son’s fav mayo is the Woolworths sweet chillie one.
Yes I think we are on the same page with this. $100 less is achievable but $200 less as I was doing just makes all your pantry needs build up! I think $450 is still very reasonable for a large family with dogs too. Thanks for stopping by and commenting also X

Good morning Michelle, I’ve never heard of Kohl’s having groceries. We don’t have one in my area , but my cousin shops at Kohl’s love the store. She’s never mentioned groceries, I’ll have to ask her.

I spend around $200 to $230 per week for 3 adults, 2 dogs and 2 cats with 7 meals a week with lunch and breakfast as everyone is home and there is no wiggle room. Often I have to take things off to bring down the total of what I really need and want. It's exhausting. I get my Coles delivery on Mondays and start planning a new trolley full Monday night. I tweak it right up until Sunday night until I can squeeze every item's worth down to the dollar. Tax time I go nuts and stock up so I'm looking forward to that.
I like this idea of managing it across the week, but it is so exhausting! Thank you for sharing this, I think online is great for this purpose. I might try it this week. xx
