Finally a reaction for this absolute masterpiece.
The Part 2 to this song, Codex Nemesis, is actually even more insane. Funny story, I tripped acid once and listened to the song and it send me to another dimension. The song literally paints a picture of the war in heaven in full magnitude.

@Chunaduaialwen Sorry, but no. Luca f'ed up long ago by drifting musically and lyrically away from fantasy-based stuff that fans expected and going for esoterics.... By now, his iteration of Rhapsody feels more like an ego-trip.

A lot of this albums themes are about Luca Turilli's spirituality, which is a (fairly confusing) mix between christianism and modern physics. On the idea that the Michael and Lucifer serve as archetypes for human nature I think you are right on the money, but not on a fictional world but about the real world.
Alessandro Conti, lead singer of the band studied singing at Corale Lírica Rossini in Modena in Italy as First Tenor, the same school where Pavarotti studied as a young man. He sings opera obviously, you have to react to the songs Tormento e passione and Notturno
I think Luca Tuilli rhapsody´s albums are for fans who love opera and power metal.

my only question are there modern composers? is luca and others alike the only ones? who exists to compete ? if there are not then it means metal will be by default the music that generations of the future adore.
*NOTE:* Founded as *Thundercross* in 1993 by Luca Turilli, Alex Staropoli, and Daniele Carbonera, the band changed their name to *Rhapsody* in 1995.
Then, in 2006 *Rhapsody* changed their name to *Rhapsody of Fire* due to trademark issues.
And then, in 2011, Turilli left *Rhapsody of Fire* and went on to found a _new_ Rhapsody band, *Luca Turilli's Rhapsody.*
In 2018, Turilli formed _yet_ a new band, named *Turilli / Lione Rhapsody.*

Luca Turilli's previous band was called "Rhapsody" (later known as "Rhapsody of Fire"), where he was the main composer and lyricist. They playe4d symphonic power metal. He split in 2011, after ten studio albums, and created Luca Turilli's Rhapsody, where he continued with the sympho-pòwer thing, but also he had some progressive vibes. A few years ago he dissolved LTs Rhapsody and formed "Turilli/Lione Rhapsody", with the former singer of Rhapsody, Fabio Lione, and other former members, wich was a more progressive oriented band.
Luca's music is heavily influenced by classical music, and normally he works with real orchestras for albums recording. There is a video from one song, "The Magic of the Wizard's Dream" where you can see that (also, there was Christopher Lee on that song). Also, he loves to make loooong songs in his albums, and he defined his music as "Hollwood metal", because the tries to give a sensation of movie soundtrack with his music.

A few points.
1. Theories are comprised of laws, supercedent to them hierarchically.
2. Christian Sci Fi would include the matrix. Light in chest, wounded but more powerful, is insinuated to die for humanities salvation..
3. In a literal way, a mouse runs free, but doesn't live free of the eagles talon. Mice are just weaker to such a large degree, that it can change nothing. Erego, though it runs free, and might even imagine itself to be free, it isnt free, as death looms as an imminent spectre. So, if heaven and hell are a thing, and the thing that is supposed to bind humans to either is human choice, and as a city developer cant make construction orders without plans, perhaps he made a place where he could create an illusion of choice, a place called Earth. Because after all, witnessing the fallout of Adam and Eve's debacle, plus knowing the heaven and hell thing, and then knowing he's always watching you.. how would we have any more choice than the kid who would have stolen the cookies but the parents are standing right there?

Luca Turilli has some sort of modern Catholic view of the universe.I am not sure if he himself is a devout Catholic but i know he was raised in the religion and in italy so I am sure he has at least a passing knowledge of Catholocism and also for sure religious art. However he also has allot of stuff that is more what i would call mystical science and also he has written his own scifi/fantasy mythology .and Sorii I feel that it is obvious the bible said satan is a seven headed ten headed dragon probably looked closer to Tiamat in Dnd .
nope, Luca is a great follower of Yoga and India Culture and he participated on a Gnosis school, and when you have that knowlege, you see that everything is coming from the same source, and people like Jesus or Buda, are fractals from a high counsciousness. (sorry for my inglish xd)

well in revelation 12 it actually says Satan the angel is also the accuser and he is not forced out of heavan until Christs birth . So it is entirely possible Satan in Job is the serpent of Genesis and it is also possible though a dark angel he was still fully capable of taking his rightful seat in the council of the heavanly ascended masters. But after Christ he was no longer able to sit on his seat.
Seventh Wonder's The Great Escape is very epic but I know it's too long for a review. I hope one day you just decide to check it out on your own. If you ever do let me know what you thought, I would be interested :)
