Loved seeing what you were taking back home. You looked so beautiful in the painting just as you are in real life! I’m sure your dad will love seeing it every day. He seems like such a kind and interesting man. Love your channel!
I loved seeing all of the treasures you’re talking back home. Waiting to see which route you got to take back to Italy. QUESTION: does your dad ever visit you in Italy and what does he think of all the steps??😃
Char here, not Robert! 'Willow Crossley creates a flower arrangement for a summer table' will change your life. Also 'Marie Wiik's Diary: my first one one one workshop'. They create loose and relaxed floral arrangements which will look lovely on the first of your new tablecloths. Simply beautiful and beautifully simple. Keep your Dad close, you have many of his fine qualities.
You and Carlo are such a pleasant part of my morning..thank you for all the lovely videos, painting of you is beautiful! Have a great trip back to your home❤️
Thank You soo much for this video!!!! Nicki, the photo of your Mother is Beautiful🌹, you look just like her❤️ What a fantastic trip, enjoyed seeing your Father❤️
That is just beautiful Nikki! You are so beautiful, and may I say you look alot like your beautiful mother. Im sure your dad is thrilled to own this painting! Bravo!♥️
Having lived the expat life for 20+ years, we truly appreciate all the “goodies” you are taking home to Italy and must say this video brought back fond memories. Thanks for sharing the lovely photo of your Mom - she must have been very special. Loved seeing the beautiful portrait of you done by one of your viewers - what a lovely and thoughtful gift for your Dad! Safe travels as you, Carlo and Holly drive back to Italy! 🇺🇸
So nice to see your mom’s face on the screen saver. ❤️ We ‘everywhere’ think you and Carlo are one of the best parts of the collective moment we are all in …you lift our hearts to a happy light place, making everything better. 🙂 I watch your video right before I go to sleep for the night and it takes away the entire day and replaces all of it with ‘happy’. 💐
Your dad will miss you so much when you go. He certainly chose some thoughtful gifts to send with you. It's wonderful that he will have the new painting - so lifelike and so charming. Safe trip Nicki, Carlo and Holly!
Nicki! I know Nancy Ford and her sweet hubby! I traveled with Nancy on an Art tour to Italy several years ago. She is a lovely lady and is over the Moon that you bought her piece for your Dad! What a coincidence! What a treasure piece for your Dad!!!
My father has just had a heart attack and heart failure in the UK , he’s 88 and I can’t get to see him because of NZ border restrictions. Time with loved ones is precious , I’m happy you were able to see your own father and bring home such good loot 😊
I am always surprised that Italy does not appreciate limes. I soon learnt that a slice of like in a gin and tonic was so much zingier than a lemon. Like you, we use them for Thai dishes as well as making guacamole and many other dishes. I would definitely get yourself over to Vico Equense and see if they will sell you them directly to you. I personally couldn’t live without a lime! Also, wondered why cordial which has no goodness whatsoever, is preferred to squeezing some of those wonderful oranges you have in the garden! I suppose we all have our own tastes. Does no one like marmite in your house! 😏😂
HELLO FROM TEXAS - Now that's what I call a Christmas hull !! Wonderful to see things like this. Your trip to England was very intesting - enjoyable to watch. Looking forward to seeing you both back in Italy, so we can find out what's going on. Pray you have a fast and safe trip, and that nothing will stand in your way. Thank you for all your Christmas Cheer, and hard work in preparing it. Keep us posted. Love .
Loved seeing all your goodies. Thinking about all the trips you will need to make on those stairs to get those items into your home. Quite a physical workout. Have fun!
Costco! I just shopped at the HOME of COSTCO store in Issaquah, WA last night...just a couple of miles from my home....had no idea they were in England...somewhat addictive, that place! The painting is incredible...what a wonderful gift for your DAD!!! thanks, for another entertaining video! SAFE TRAVELS!!!
Absolutely love your videos and all the time and effort you and Carlo put into making them - this is a real refreshing change on youtube . As an expat in Italy I long for the day when I can go home without tests/quarantines. Thank you so much for all your effort and bringing happiness to so many.
It's funny because when I was a kid we used to go from Modena to Cracow in Poland by car to visit grandma there (my dad's Italian, mom's Polish) and dad would stock up the car with food like crazy (from Italy) cause he was afraid he'd starve in Poland without any pasta 😅😆 They would then bring back some antiques from Cracow, but no food 😅
Very nice assortment. The loading is easy but the unloading can be rough. All those steps. I know your Dad will miss you. Glad you had a beautiful time. Safe travels till the next
The haul is not so large, this time. But will require several trips from car to house. Ugggg the stairs await. Can you rent a mule for hauling things when at home? Just have them wait by the roadside car park and off load all from the car for them to haul it to the house. I see a sunny moment in England in this video. I hope your travels are safe and sunny all the way home.
NICKI, I bought one of those cast iron casseroles in a supermarket instead of a Creuset. Beware of ever using a metal utensil in it, I ended up with a tiny chip which rusted. ALWAYS use plastic/wood/silicone in it! I think their lining is thin, thus the cheaper price.
So much fun! I love the packing videos and coming home with goodies from afar or in your case, goodies from your home away from home. Lovely to see the picture of your mom
Oh wow that painting is incredible! The original photo is very lovely and sweet. So fabulous that you were able to purchase the painting (and that the artist felt inspired to paint it!) I’m sure your Dad will feel all warm and fuzzy every time he looks at it! 🥰🥰🥰
Drive safely back home. Thank you for letting us into your lives. Living outside UK myself, as a Brit, I understand what it means to lack the things one is used to. Squash I would have thought can be easily made from scratch in Italy a lot more naturally than using the concentrate. As for the traditional Quality Street chocolates, nostalgia isn't like it used to be...:)😃. I know I would prefer any time the amazing Italian chocolates you can find in Positano High Street.
Hi Niki and Carlo! You are EVERYWHERE! So happy for you that you found a house in Tuscany!! Half way between Positano and England? Definitely a different climate and Northern atmosphere! Fun for you both! You help us to live life EVERY DAY! The Cemetary all lit up was really beautiful! The little girls popping up here and there! The festivals, trio’s to England and boat trips are all just wonderful! When I have a room attack to do,I say, now how would Niki attack this? Thanks for your inspiration, power through attitude and lovingly take your puppies everywhere! Hello Everywhere!Chou! You have a wonderful family and life! 👏🥰❤️🇮🇹
Robinsons! You're giving me memories! Yes England does have really good value for money, for clothing too. My favourite is M&S for the best quality and value.
Thanks for sharing Nicki and Carlo . Lovely painting of you Nicki . What a lovely gift for your dad. Lots of yum there . You forgot the Nutella lol Things are so expensive in Italy it seems. I have seen a lot on dear old amazon and the postage is dire. Hurry home and safe journey x
Ciao Nicki, what a lovely picture of your Mom in the computer background. I can see you look so much like her 😊, and the painting is owesome, what a thoughful present for your Dad 🥰. Safe travels
Always so happy to see a Wednesday video. Makes me smile every time! Also, thank you so much for introducing us to Fern and her family, I've been really loving her videos!
Your mother and you are one. Quite lovely! Your dad has given you very practical gifts and Carlo was gave careful attention to all. Okay we're for the road.
Lots of good stuff your taking back. I remember those Quality chocolates when I lived in England. Loved them. Sometimes I can find them here. Have a safe trip back! Hugs❤
Nicki, At the beginning I thought the main page photo was you until you said it was your mum. You look so much like her. Beautiful of course!! I so look forward to every video. You and Carlo are such sweet people!
If you ever go to Sicily- you’ll love it- overnight Ferry from Naples and you’ll find those juice/fruit concentrates for juices, baking, etc and great locally made chocolate
I love it when you come home from your parents house and they give you things they think you need like an extra kitchen knife you admired or black show polish. Comforting.
So interesting seeing what you brought back to Italy that is either, not available or more expensive. Love the portrait and what a lovely present for your Dad. Your Mum looks beautiful on your screen.. Typically the sun decides to come out now. Dear old England and it's temperamental weather. Best wishes always and look forward to your further adventures in Positano 🌟😊
Nikki, I have that bottle of VANILLA EXTRACT from Costco. It is not truly evaporation proof. You may want to put it into a proper bottle with a tight screw lid. I noticed that the level went down in the bottle quite a bit when I had not done any baking.
Doesn't look like as much as you brought back last time, unless you buy loads more food! As long there's room for Holly in the car, that's what matters!!
Hello from Oregon, I am just let you all that the Syrup Kirland is very sweet does not need much it will last you and your family a long time. I love the table clothe with the napkins they are so cute! Since the coconut oil is in plastic I would put it into a small glass jar to hide from the sun melting it. You have a great family! God be with you on your travels Cheers to your healthy and safety!
Hi I'm British but have lived in France for 30 years. I would have bought marmite, tea, chutney and of course sweets. It's always reassuring to see that we're not alone in the odd things we take home.
As you added all these treasures to the trunk, all I could envision is carrying it down all those steps! Brave souls. Nicki, you look so much like your mom!
A good bit of shopping to take back to Italy that's great! Safe journey home Nicki and Carlo and thank you It's always a pleasure to see your video's. Take care and much love
Fab vlog, love the goodies you take back home, I take very similar when I return to UK from Canada. Carlos, superb drone shots...loved them, you are becoming quite the natural behind the camera and drone. Great couple 💑

Yes, I assume she passed away?
I love how Carlos takes such care loading the car. It’s so sweet! Looks like you got a lot of great items! That wonderful!

Food is such a comfort. Each of us has different things we need to make us feel pulled together.
So glad you made it to England spending quality time with your dad and family - safe journey back to Home Italy 👍❤️🇮🇹
I was feeling down today and this really cheered me up. What a lovely portrait of you Nicki. Hope your trip back goes well.

Such pretty trees in your Dad's gardens.
Thanks for sharing. You look quite a lot like your mother Nicki. Have a safe trip home.
Always interesting that things we take for granted can’t easily be found in other countries.

Pretty picture! Lots of different treasures going back to Italy. Vanilla has become quite expensive in the USA. I never saw it in vials!

Bottle brushes are the best things ever!!! Useless until one needs one, then they're brilliant - especially if you use the old glass bottles again.
That painting is incredible. Beautiful!
Back to Italy, I'll bet your dad loved his family being there , he missed you all I'm sure. You are always prepared for your food haul, smart.
I love it when you come home from your parents house and they give you things they think you need like an extra kitchen knife you admired or black show polish. Comforting.

A lovely painting 🖼 bet your dad was really pleased. Have a good trip back.
Anxious to see Positano, again
As you added all these treasures to the trunk, all I could envision is carrying it down all those steps! Brave souls. Nicki, you look so much like your mom!
