Continuity...Dinah sold the farm to Hart for $1, which she couldn’t have done if it had a mortgage, therefore when Cassie inherited the property there would have been none. Also, Hart blew all the money left to him by Henry? Doubtful.
I know the story of Cassie being completely broke was ridiculous because where did Henry's money go and the farm was paid off there was not loan on the farm. I know he had the hospital bills but Hart had enough money from Henry to cover those bills.
I'm not sure how many writers there were for Guiding Light or other Soaps, but i once sat in a Q&A session with a producer of a radio show (an actual children series that was on radio weekly) and one fan asked several questions about some of the story discrepencies or discontinuities. The producer said they only recorded episodes for certain number of days a week for only a certain number of weeks in a year. The show was so popular they had to record episodes relatively quickly. They had a couple writers working separately on various episodes and the writers were sometimes not on the same page. That led to some discrepencies in story lines. Then when the producers realized it, they would write another episode or two that tried to plug the gap/answer the questions for the discontinuity. Some of the time, the gaps in story lines weren't resolved.
I agree there should be no mortgage. Cassie told Blake in an earlier episode that Hart left ALL his money in trust funds for RJ, Tammy, and His son with Bridget. So that explains why theres no money

If I recall Hart inherited money and bought the old pub where Cassie was dancing on a pool table. So how was a rich man broke? Come on. He didn’t have a life insurance policy? Really? 🤦🏾♀️
I was thinking the same thing. I thought Cassie works for the Lewis family. I think they changed the narrative for Cassie for her storyline with Richard. As far as Beth that woman is completely insecure.
21:45 Danny is just as ruthless and cocky as Tony Santos

Yup. That part always confused me too

He also struck oil on his land and had money from that.
In the late 1990 nobody like Beth

Beth has issues
I honestly don’t understand how Hart didn’t leave Cassie and the kids financially set aside from the trust funds.
Buzz was wrong asf and a damn hypocrite. He was no father of the year and let not start with Billy.🤦🏾♀️
Bill and Michelle was cute in that scene.
And the fantasies start.
Beth is just unlikeable
Yes Beth Get out!!!!@@@
Is josh not paying Cassie? Lol
Seriously Beth needs to just stop talking.
Nicole Ackerman it was pointless for her to even stop by.
Her character became so insecure, desperate and insufferable. 🙄 I loved watching the 🚪 slam in her face.
