Ginting has always been a formidable player in the current badminton scene. Its just that his inconsistency gets the best in him especially in major tournaments. I long yearn for him to comeback to his dominant form

@@SiNNEi2 2018/19 was his peak dominant form especially the China Open 2018. That was also the tournament in where he got the nickname "Giant Killer" for winning 5 consecutive games against Axelsen, Lin Dan, Chen Long, Kento Momota and CTC.

@@codesanity7916 He didn't win any tournaments in 2019 though i agree that's probably his peak in terms of his career performance. Winning 2 tournaments in 2018 isn't "dominant" either.
When u use the word dominant in 2018 / 2019 then it's Kento Momota for sure due to his no. of 1st place finishes.

@@SiNNEi2 Aye but you still cant deny how much of a problem he was even for prime momota and prime axelsen. Even in interviews they came to acknowledge his skill as a player and he was a force to be reckoned with.
He was the more dominant player in the tournaments he excelled on (which are the tournaments you mentioned)

LSF has that aura of becoming a legendary player like his ancestors LD and CL,hope he wins medals at WC and olympics in future.Shi yuqi also had that in his younger days but I think since his ankle injury in 2019 he's not the same player he once was.He never reached his highest potential due to that injury.
