Interesting view, I can only go off the experience of my best mate. We both left University in 1992, we are both white British men. After 9 months he joined the Paras, passed Basic, P Company and Para training, served for 6 years and never got a stripe on his arm. Different time, different branch of the service, maybe that has an effect?
This doesn't make any sense. There's a Kenyan who became a lance corporal in the space of 2 years. You should see his interview on chams media. You may be saying racism but maybe it's a case of performance. The Kenyan was the best performer during physical and medical tests.

I also tried to join last 7yrs but on the paper it said that I should submit a sponsor whom I will stay with at UK that was when I stopped cos I didn't have any one. It's refreshing to know you're from Akwatia that's where I'm also from.

Those boils under your arm. I feel your pain. I had them when I was in Iraq. I was using to much antiperspirant spray that stops you from sweating. But that builds up toxins inside, then that causes the hair follicle infection. I had several boils under my arms at once. Most painful thing I've experienced. Never used antiperspirant spray since 🤣

You were lucky then visa application has an interview where you can express yourself when I applied there was no interview for the visa that is a real disadvantage I hope the British embassy can consider an interview for people applying for the army

Oh yeah, I was a vehicle specialist but they scrapped it so I moved to postal and courier in the Royal Logistics.

In my case, I guess it was the change of environment from Ghana to the UK. The water, food and antiperspirant as you mentioned.

Normally if it’s on hold, it means they are waiting for the next recruitment session or there is something wrong with your application.

hello please i have applied for the uk army and i have received the RG medical declaration but there is an aspect of the forms where i need to provide some vaccinations record, unfortunately I have not vaccinated for some of the vaccines provided.
please i question is do i need to get all the records of the vaccines provided or provide what i already have?

Brother, I'm planning for the same. I have two questions, Q1. Can I go there on a visitor visa and will that be enough as I can only stay there for 6 months after my arrival? Q2. Will I be qualified for British Citizenship after my service or I just have to come back home?
So there are many recruitment centres in the UK. Just pop in and make enquires when you arrive in the UK. I hope that answers your questions for both.
Getting a visa from Nigeria was my main obstacle
I knew a few Nigerians in the army but they were recruited in the UK. I am sure the process is same. Sorry for the delay in response

Hello Baba, I wanted to ask if I could join the British army from Spain. I'm pretty fluent in English but obviously Spain is not part of the Commonwealth however, I don't want to join the Spanish army because there's a lot of fascists. I know it sounds kind of weird but I've thought of it already. I've thought of learning more languages in the future so that I could be useful as a translator. Could I join the British army if I got a citizenship or something similar?
