You all probably dont care at all but does anyone know a way to log back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my password. I would love any tips you can give me
@Lennox Trey thanks so much for your reply. I found the site on google and Im trying it out atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
A really nice looking stool. You are, like someone else mentioned, a great teacher. Your explanation of the angles required made it simple to understand. Well done !!
Usually I hate when people talk during the video bc most of what they choose to say is more like rambling rather than critical information or even entertaining information. However, I really thought the narration you added was very necessary and extremely easy to listen to. Loved it. Can’t wait to see more
I like your project. I am fan of plywood pattern. Last year I build a treasure pirate chest for my sister and I cut the plywood and glued the same way as yours. Thanks for sharing.
It took me a while myself to wrap my brain around it. Just picture everything leaning in like the Eiffel tower 😉 Once you get started all the pieces start falling into place.
Another great video Marie. Your descriptions and explanations are always spot on. And I appreciate that you always state how this is the way you do it, tho it may not be the best way. This allows the woodworker see the project through their own eyes, and lets them find the best route to the end result. This project stool is great. It shows the legs, raked and splayed, as well as the chevron design for the seat. Keep up the good work. It is very inspirational.
This is a great video, Marie! Your explanations are so detailed, but they're not overwhelming or confusing. You're a fantastic teacher and woodworker. :)
Sweet stool, and if I could offer one small idea, use a plastic paint scraper to scrape the glue before the planer. I do this at work for bigger table glue ups and it saves the time and planer!
I really like the design of your chair, but then I have always liked the look of the edge of plywood when its sanded. I made a desk and a table using plywood with the edges exposed. I used premium plywood that had absolutely no voids, and they came out really nice.
Une très très belle réalisation, très bien expliqué et surtout très utile dans un atelier. J’adore la couleur grise des pieds et le motif du siège. Merci à vous pour ce partage ( thank you for sharing) .
Man I absolutely love your work and the instructional videos. The angles wreck my brain; however maybe just maybe I can build a stool with your video and written instructions. Thanks again!!
Hi Marie I just watched your video again I've noticed your getting a lot of new toys for shop lol.I like your shop fox strait edge saw,one thing that I use a lot in my shop is a bandsaw you can make circle cutting jigs for it I use it for cutting bowl blanks its a great tool.Glad to see you again its been awhile since your last video you do nice work,I'll be waiting for your next video. God bless
Oh my don't tempt me!!! I've been actively avoiding looking into bandsaws because I KNOW I'll buy one once I start! It's on the list for this year, so don't be surprised if you see one appear in the shop :-)

Hello my friend. I watched making a great chevron patterned bar stool using plywood. I watched with admiration. It's a great project. The biggest thing is to always do innovative work and help people with ideas. Congratulations. Warm hug. Yours truly. (thanks for the plans)..
Found you and n Reddit you're really awesome thanks for reaching us how to make this stool. Also the sliding doors you made at your mitre saw put my jaw on the floor cause that's brilliant.
i think you did a great job of describing each step,,,i especially liked it about the angles,,,going to watch the video again,,kinda confused about how you layed up the plywood for glue ups,,,but it was a great video,,,
Wow Love it! What a neat little project. I'm so inspired! Will be tackling this one when I have some downtime. I'm sure I'll screw up the legs/angles but that's part of the fun. Terrific video! Really. A very practical, down to earth project. Excellent job on the presentation and camera work!
Thanks for the outstanding instructional video. Don't worry about negative comments. The only people who are never criticized are those who accomplish nothing :).
Awesome work! I really like how it turned out. I have also wanted to try the Osmo finish, I see it used a lot on large epoxy tables and it looks amazing!
Nice project. I've always shied away from compound mitre cuts, but your excellent presentation's method has given me some confidence. I thought maybe you'd gone into hibernation, I'm told Quebec winters can be brutal ;-) The grey finish looks good, I've been using a dead-matte product which mimics chalk paint but is quite tough . ( In UK it's a Ronseal product but I'm sure others do one too) Needs no wax or clear-coat.

Thanks, appreciate the positive feedback!
Thank you, this is an awesome build! I still cannot believe that the gray and the natural color of plywood end grain would look this great. Cheers!
I like your project. I am fan of plywood pattern. Last year I build a treasure pirate chest for my sister and I cut the plywood and glued the same way as yours. Thanks for sharing.
Wow love that stool! Those angles are hard for me to visualise but I guess once you get started it comes. Thanks
It took me a while myself to wrap my brain around it. Just picture everything leaning in like the Eiffel tower 😉 Once you get started all the pieces start falling into place.
I love the chevron pattern, it makes the stool beautiful!
Thank you 😊
Yey!!! I finally found another Canadian!! Nice work!

Thank you so much! 😊
Looks awesome 👍🏼
Thanks Robert!
Great to see a lady with strong carpentry skills
Thank you kindly!
Good explanation on the angles. If people complain about the single dowel they can just modify to do a half-lap joint. The hard part is the angling.
You did an incredible job with figuring out this puzzle
Many thanks, appreciate that!
Beautiful stool, visited Montreal in October of 2019. Beautiful city, enjoyed the poutine and fantastic bagels!
Your commentary is clear and informative. Great content!
Excellent build. Love the chevron seat.

that plywood chevron top looked super cool.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!
Loving the stool & the use of end grain ply. Much better then my stools ive made
Thanks, appreciate it!
Love the look of this stool, Marie! Great job!

very nice. You should have your own woodworking show on TV.
Nice job and well explained step by step. You are a perfect teacher. Thanks for sharing the video.
Thank you so much Hans! Truly appreciate it.
If only I knew you in real life we could have so much fun.... Making stuff in the workshop..
Welcome back and a great build ms
Lol I'm sure we would. Thanks for the support!

The better the plywood, the better the result!

Fantastic quality👍👍👍💪
This is a beautiful stool! Thanks for sharing
Found you and n Reddit you're really awesome thanks for reaching us how to make this stool. Also the sliding doors you made at your mitre saw put my jaw on the floor cause that's brilliant.
Thank you so much! I've seen a lot of ppl use magnets but just wanted something even more simple, so... Sliding doors 😊
i think you did a great job of describing each step,,,i especially liked it about the angles,,,going to watch the video again,,kinda confused about how you layed up the plywood for glue ups,,,but it was a great video,,,
Very cool video - those angles feel like something that would take a long time to wrap my brain around 😁
Haha I did my best to break it down but it's still math :-p
Le quedo muy bonita! Nice afternoon
Wow that's beautiful - would make a nice serving board too, finished with food safe mineral oil
It would look cool, although I'm not sure I'd recommend it. Plywood end grain exposes a lot of the plywood's inner glue, which may not be food safe...
Very well done
Thanks!
Definitely saving this video to try it myself!
Awesome, hope you enjoy!
Very nicely done👍👍👍

It's not cheap, but I've never found a finish I love so much.
Very nice, just a gentle question, why didn't you use pocket holes? to joint the legs
Beautiful well done might try this for Xmas present

professional!! 👏👏👏👏
great video
Thanks!
I like those stools! Thanks for sharing! :-)
Thanks so much! 🙏
That was cool
Thank you for your tips on compound angles. Your video was excellent. Why spray paint over brush painting?
Great video, thanks a lot! :)
exelente me encanto el efecto 3d , saludos desde buenos aires
Thank you!
Beautifully done
HighTec is when seat is slightly concave. But in generally this is very good job! You can make any marvel with that equipment.
for that you could use an angle grinder with a flap disk. It would take a fair bit of time, but wouldn't chunk away at the plywood
Thanks! Yeah maybe one day I'll get to carving, but not there yet.
Nice👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you
This was a lot of work but the stool turned out beautiful.
Ha, you're right, it was! But really happy with the outcome :-)
The last set of cuts for the seat, is that 1-1/2 as well?
exactly what i was looking for. 👌 just bought your plans and hope i can do this. 😉
Trabalho muito bonito, parabéns!
Great job! :-)
Stay safe up there.
Thanks, doing my best by staying in the workshop 😉
👍👍👍👍👍
smart lady!
Hey, c'était super! Bravo et oui, j'en aurai 2 à bâtir.
