About the Spanish volunteers in WW2, I know it's a joke but... they would never have fought in Africa, because the fighting there was against the British, and that is something Franco would have never wanted to do (he was a big anglophile, at least at that part of his carreer), he was an anticomunist and the idea was to oppose communism so indeed Russia was the only place they could go to fight. Of course, within Russia, they did put them in the *northern* front, but considering the southern one was Stalingrand and the southern Steppes, there was really not that much of a difference.

The Japanese war effort had completely collapsed by the time of Soviet intervention. Taking Manchuria basically just guaranteed that Mao and the CCP would gain access to what was, at the time, the largest industrial base in mainland Asia, rather than letting it fall to Chiang Kai-Shek and the Nationalists, effectively meaning the Soviet Union had to maintain two massive borders with anti-Communist powers.

Well, for those who don't know, according to Wikipedia, the Mughal Empire captured an area of about 4 million sq km, while the Maurya Empire captured an area of about (estimated) 3.4 - 5 million sq km. (Exact area isn't known because the empire was much old, however, Buddhist couns issued during his reign have been found in areas of Iran and Afghanistan as well)
And most importantly, Ashok and the Maurya dynasty were Indian while the Mughals had their roots from outside India...

Great video, one correction, the meme with Israel and the arab states is discussing the Yom-Kippur War, and not the six-day war, which helped the israeli-egyptian peace treaty, in which israel gave up the Sinai peninsula. Many arab states still consider the war an Arab coalition victory, and Egypt even has a city named after the war (6th of October City)
