Lachy your instructions are second to none, thank you for putting all of this out there, i look forward to your new instructional coming on bjj fanatics👍
What does Lachlan say from 10:21 to 10:27? Keep the knee flared so it slows him down from getting up? Does he mean keeping the knee flared slows down the roll or slows him down from pulling the knee free?
How would you apply this same knee bend technique to keep the knee line if you're in an outside heel hook position where the leg does not cross the attacker's centerline? Would you have to bring the foot across the body into an inside heel hook position first like Lachlan demonstrates in this video?
In his heel hook run on ebi absolutes Craig, seemed to me to be very lose with his legs, especially in the second and third fight. Could you maybe comment on that
Craig Jones talks about the 2nd and 3rd EBI 14 matches on his grapplers guide heel hook set. He basically says that in those matches he had heel exposure and a full bite on the heel before securing his full leg entanglement. And he says that with a full bite on the inside heel hook, your legs can be more open or loose, and they don’t have to have as secure of an entanglement around your opponent’s leg. But if you get the leg entanglement before the heel exposure, then what you do with your legs matters more.
Lachlan Giles my friend, you are the best teacher in history of Jiu Jitsu. Big respect from far away Croatia.

We're Lachy to have him!
Edit: Not as funny now that Potters clay fixed their typo
This video is so underrated

@@WhtMike2006 I see a lot of top competitors work on getting the grip in the heel first THEN working their legs into position
Who's here after Lachlan wrecked the absolutes at 2019 ADCC ✋
Nice! I am waiting for "Closed Guard Anthology"
No one does that shit at the top level of grappling
I am under impression that the top level guys are not the target for instructional videos
The two people that disliked this video were heel hooked by Jeremy Skinner it Lachlin Giles lol
12:57. Okay. Fucking awesome.
I think I might finally know enough to understand what's going on here. I hope so.
Great details. Sure am glad his uke had a mouth guard in for the taping though. Could've been ugly. 🤣
I don’t get it
