The fact that Chilli was confirmed to have had a miscarriage makes this episode so much more emotional.

@@whisperforces In the book "Hard to Bear: investigating the science and silence of miscarriage" the author reached out to Joe Brumm, who confirmed that the scene from the episode where the balloon pops and Bandit grabs Chilli's hand to console her, was in fact a nod to the miscarriage.
@@chikennuggers1429I thought he said that’s what the scene *implied* but I didn’t think he said it’s confirmed?
Edit: I looked it up and he said the episode “points to” it being about a miscarriage. Also I feel the need to clarify that I do believe it’s true I just wasn’t sure if it’s *CONFIRMED* *confirmed*

Oooh yeah, this episode. Yeah the balloon popping is significant in a sad way. It used to just be a theory, but it got confirmed by the creators: Chili had a miscarriage before Bluey was born. Obviously the girls don’t know about this yet since they’re so young.
This makes Bluey a rainbow baby, right?
It does! It makes Chili’s anxiety about being a good mom in Baby Race even more understandable.
And it makes the symbolism at the end of the episode Rain really sweet.
If you pay attention in Bedtime bingo hatches from the planet Earth, and we see pieces of planet Venus floating around, but Mercury is completely intact 😢

The way Bluey depicts Bandit in the meeting and proposal, those scenes were what led to me watching the series in the end because I just could not stop laughing. The flag cape and nose picking, she basically made her dad a “bogan” while Bingo makes Chilli all proper enough to have tea with the Queen, it’s just a hilarious contrast!

Yes Bluey is a rainbow baby, and Heeler or Aussie Cattle Dogs if your from the USA can be Red Blue or a mix of both like how you can breed to Labradors and the puppies can be black yellow or chocolate despite what the parents are the are just coat varieties.
Someone I know bread Labradors and once they bread two yellows and the puppies where 2 yellows 3 blacks 2 chocolate and one silver it was crazy.
The name of their breed/fur colour is called 'red' despite being more of an orange. For the record, 'blue' are more of a greyish hue making them actually blue is probably the bigger sin...
The way Chilli and Bandit met has been very divisive among themselves, and fans as well.
I think the closest conformation was them being backpackers.
Working holiday, if it was in London. Australian young adults can get specific working holiday visas for the UK, part set aside to work, part set aside to travel. A lot of them work in London, and, yes, have meet-cutes in bars and parties in Shepherd's Bush.

I'll try not to spoil too much, but Bandit (as Baby Bluey) walking backwards is actually more accurate than just being a way of Bandit mocking Bluey with a "dirty diaper" in the face.
