Finally someone does a proper video for the gran coupe installing these lights I plan on getting a 440i gran coupe soon and was hoping to be able to install these but even video were only for the 3 series or 4 series coupe. You’re the best thanks 🙏
I wanted to personally thank you for your very helpful video on installing these GTS taillights. I watched your video about 10 times 😂😂😂 and it went flawlessly almost lol
Question, mine is a 2016, I don't think I have a light in the part that's on the actual hatch. So the turn signals & hazard lights on the hatch doesn't work. But the brake and animated lights on the hatch do work.
I have a Pre Lci 430i gran coupe and yeah its more work to it Kies motor sport doesn’t offer said cable ended up having to ship back the part, also would have gone to a different vendor after losing money after buying from them
Hey, I got it from Kies Motorsports! www.kiesmotorsports.com/products/bmw-4-series-carbon-fiber-m-performance-style-rear-diffuser?variant=18012834103411?aff=29
@@RADBAVARIAN Problem was the wiring, I did not make it o all the way to other side. Now everything is almost fine. When I wash the car, water makes the lights animation go crazy :|

Yo dude how did you put the wiring together? I got mine from kies and the wiring was not attached to the lights at all like I’ve seen with their f30/f80 lights
I believe vland is the only company that manufacture the after market ones cause I got mines from bayoptics n the manual that came in the box said vland if I had known that I would have brought straight from vland n saved 50 bucks kies is not gona tell u they by vland
I have a f36 gran coupe as well, to run the wiring down to the bottom tailight from the tailgates the same? I have no clue how to run the wiring or take off the panels I know there’s a lot of f36 owners in need of help
Yeah they work, just need to fish an additional wire from the outer tail light to the lights in the hatch to get the full sequential light to work. Kind of a pain, but honestly 1 hour most if you have the right tools (plastic pry tools and common sense).
Does anyone know if the V2 gts oled style taillights (VLAND) is supposed to light up both the inner and outer lights when hitting the breaks? 435i f36 gran coupe. I saw some videos where it lights up for some people, but not others. Aside from that, everything else works...

Thanks for tuning in! I got more content coming by; stay tuned 😎👌
He didn’t show anything 😁
@GHΩST i did it. I has 440i pre lci and ordered vland gts style tail lights. There is a lot of stuff to do. Maybe for lci there is more easier way…
I wanted to personally thank you for your very helpful video on installing these GTS taillights.

Ha! Every install is different, glad it helped!

How about connecting the two parts of the light together. That I believe is the bigger part of the job pulling wiring through the liftgate assy…
I actually responded to this through video!
Looks easy but pre-lci is more complicated as you need to run an additional wire down the tailgate. I ended up going to a pro for this job.
Good idea!

Nice video car looks great 🔥 where did u get your rear diffuser from if u don't mind?

Considering these lights for my gran coupe - Just have 1 question for you.. Are yours still working Any issues??
Well I sold the car, Soooo I hope they still are?
Just installed mine, this video helped a lot, but my brake lights are flickering. Not sure whats the matter.
Check wiring, might be one is loose or not tightly sealed
@@RADBAVARIAN Problem was the wiring, I did not make it o all the way to other side. Now everything is almost fine. When I wash the car, water makes the lights animation go crazy :|
Which tools you need? Thanks
I thought I specified in the video?
Are these rear light genuine BMW? Looks really good.
Are these plug and play? (Or do extra cable to be installed needed)
Great video - really fruitful
Hey, there are not OEM BMW and they are plug-n-play. Thanks for watching, stay tuned for more content!
wait so you ordered the F30/F80 M3 GTS V1 or did you order the V2 for F32/36/F82?
I ordered the v2
He said grand coupeaaaa 😂
Bruh
On the video is not showing how to connecting long cable, red and yellow. I have 420 diesel grand coop 2017. It is need this to cable please???
I explain that this is one method, there are other methods of installing it on the 4 series. You may need a longer or different cable
No needed i have same 420d gran coupe no need long cable just normal cable
Can You please explain how to run the wiring? That is hardest part of the job on F36. You didn't mention that in this video
Hey, it’s actually in the description!
Dude please make video how you hide cables. Kies videos dont show it becasue F36 is different !!
Haha, will do! I may do a review.
@@RADBAVARIAN you do not need to because I forgot that you had LCI F36 :p then the install is easier than in preLCI
Hi, are those VLAND brand? If so, are they the version 1 or 2? Thanks!
Is the same in a f36 lci?
Should be, but the wiring might be slightly different
does this fit my 2015 435I GRAN COUPE- ----> BMW F30 & F80 GTS Style OLED Sequential Tail Lights SET (V1) -
I believe soo, the V1 or V2 are for either F30s or F32’s
Link to f36 spoiler?🔥🔥🔥

where did you buy the exhaust trim?
Yo dude how did you put the wiring together? I got mine from kies and the wiring was not attached to the lights at all like I’ve seen with their f30/f80 lights
Extra wires should have been in the package for pre-lci models. Keis does have a video on that.
Were these VLAND? because I ordered from kies and they cant even tell me what brand they are
That’s a great question, I don’t know to be exact!
I believe vland is the only company that manufacture the after market ones cause I got mines from bayoptics n the manual that came in the box said vland if I had known that I would have brought straight from vland n saved 50 bucks kies is not gona tell u they by vland
How did you route the cables from below into the tailgate?
On LCI there is no need for extra cables. On PRE-Lci there may be a few ways to do so. I would need to cover this over again.
Does this same installation apply to the cabriolet f36 440?
The only difference would be the wiring, but fitment should be the same with the actual lights
Can u put this tail light on an 2016 f30?
Possibly? I would check in with Kies Motorsports and check fitment
How do you run the wiring down from the tailgate to the taillights
Hey, I included a link In the description for you to watch what @kiesmotorsports did with their f30 cars
I have a f36 gran coupe as well, to run the wiring down to the bottom tailight from the tailgates the same? I have no clue how to run the wiring or take off the panels I know there’s a lot of f36 owners in need of help
Update! I got a shop to install them, lots of work
Would this be the same as pre LCI?
No, Pre would require additional cable arrangements
will this work as well on the 435i grand coupe ?
Should be! Available on f32/36
Yeah they work, just need to fish an additional wire from the outer tail light to the lights in the hatch to get the full sequential light to work. Kind of a pain, but honestly 1 hour most if you have the right tools (plastic pry tools and common sense).
do u need to code these lights in general use? ive just been quoted 350 to fit these? (UK based)
Hey, shouldn’t need any coding done to it. Plug n play basically.
do you think you can make a video about the e60 m5?
If I could get my hands on one, that would be great!
what about the wiring?? where do you pass throug?
I added a link to Kies Motorsports videos. They recorded various versions on how to install this with lci models.

That's interesting, might be how the coding is done
Yes, they're supposed to.. when it doesn't light up both it looks so weird imo
@jh_f30 turns out that's just how they make them for the f36 regardless if v1 or v2. However, v2 lights up on both for f30/f32 if I recall correctly.
How were you able to afford a 440?
I answered it before
Can you sell my your LCI Taillights please 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Not sure yet, once I do I'll post it up!
this vidoe was not helpful at all thanks
Hi guys I’ve just made a short video how I did the wiring on my F36:

This is great!
Wtf did i just watch
Gold
Does it fit the 430i Gran coupe?
Should be, it fits the f32 models as well
