- After some long period restoring and "improving" the car, I decided to take part in November's [SuciMuci Battle 6 Night Track Day] to give the car (and myself, a newbie) a shakedown at Melaka International Motorsport Circuit (MIMC).
Battle 6 Night Track Day is a wheel-to-wheel race event which consists only 6 cars on the grid during night time, with 5-lap practice/qualifying and 5-lap race. The term "Track Day" was included in the name as a mean of not taking the race too seriously and too competitively, as the event is only intended to spice up with some fun and thrill compared to a normal track day. This concept makes it a very exciting and safe event, and I certainly recommend anyone to try it!

This was a nice vlog + update. It was interesting to see the journey from the downfall (the accident) to the gradual comeback and your debut of racing on track. I highly respect people who are aware of what went wrong and choose to learn from it rather than pointing fingers to anything or anyone else.

Thanks man! I believe motorsports never came easy for anyone so I guess the tough lessons are necessities to at least get me on track. Really hoping to get back at it again once I solve the messes I've made. 😅

hello from a mutual neo owners...i have a neo powered by mivec turbo ... from ur point of view , what can u say about neo chassis on the track..i never been to any trackday or time attack so i would love to hear from ur experience using neo chassis as ur track weapon ...
I'm not the most experienced one on track, neither had I been on track with decent conditioned tyres so I really can't give an accurate representation. 😅 But previously on mountain roads, the rear tends to be a little playful if not delicate with pedal inputs.

why skid when counter steers u can step on gas together
It's actually how you save a FWD car from an oversteer but still need to do it delicately or else it'd snap into other direction. It's easy to panic and let go of the gas then the next thing happen would be a spin, just like my accident back at Genting downhill. 😅I was only able to do that on track because I knew it was the safest place to do it.

@@l0stcluster2 Not even drifters would find any value from that tyre. 😂 Now I'm only using it for traveling to places slowly.
