What was Klopp like to work with when he first arrived?
How did he use anger to set standards early on?
What preconceptions might Klopp have had about English footballers?
Milner also recalls the funny conversation he and Klopp had about changing his role with Liverpool, why he claims to have made Andy Robertson's career and how his 'team first' mindset allowed him to flourish at Liverpool, even when asked to play out of position.

Milner’s willingness to play at left back was absolutely key to LFC’s progress under Klopp because Alberto Moreno was an unmitigated disaster. That gave the team time to acquire and develop Andy Robertson, who became world class there and allowed Milner to move back into his preferred midfield role. What a class player!

One of the best surprises as a signing by Liverpool. Reliable, disciplined, professional and very funny. Also when you hear younger players talking about his care and attention to them he is a quality guy. A quiet tip for a future Liverpool manager.

How many true great swiss army knife players have their been in the game? A player who can do that should be held in the highest regard. Milner was unbelievable at Liverpool - he could probably play any position except central defence. Now we have Gomez doing it across all the defensive positions. A player like that is absolutely invaluable.

Much less risk of injuries & red cards & mental fatigue & focus without distraction on what really matters. Premiership champions. Destiny will make it happen.
