Happy Anniversary Minnie and Robert. Enjoy your Dior piece, so happy for you💁🏽I went to the Bellagio Forum shops Dior this Labor Day and the sales supervisor was so good to me. Not only was she able to get me a replacement strap for my vintage Lady Dior but she also gave me info on getting the handles replaced, cleaning the fabric, replacing the leather on my bag (which be sent to France for a year) She wrapped up my bag as if was brand new In a giant box, care booklet, new dustbag, charm dust over. It was 35 minutes of bliss. I will be a forever client 💞

Got to the boutique & with my luck I got Eunice as well, she is the sweetest sales associate I've ever had at any luxury brand. I've had my mind set on the thinner band going in but my heart sang with the regular sized one in the pink gold . Left the store without purchasing because I just wanted to see it in person to be sure that's what I wanted. Over dinner and some convincing, my boyfriend told me let's get it. I was shocked & just like that we were back in Cartier picking up my ring. Even though it's something I wanted to buy for myself, he stepped in and said no, he should be the one to buy my first ring. I gave one to my husband for Christmas and I was equally excited to give him a lux good, and he absolutely loves it.
Today is our 5th anniversary, and I gifted him a Daniel Graphite passport cover (they don't come in Cobalt). We are going to Singapore & Japan next month for an incredible trip and I thought it would be a perfect gift.

Happy anniversary! Do you think you will ever stop luxury shopping? I ask because I have a small collection of LV and other designer goods. I wonder why I became a luxury fan and I know a lot of it is status seeking. I justify and say it's equivalent to art collectors and how it's functional, I deserve it, I look good with it, others will envy what I have, etc. But I feel guilty too, and I read things about how LV and other lux designers take advantage of their status to swindle consumers, and how they did business with Nazis, and it makes me feel like I don't want to think about those things. I'm doing a bit of soul-searching I guess. I also remember not being a fan of LV's look until I was in Hawaii and bought my very first bag there four years ago. It was exciting and I still think the bag is beautiful ( a red-orange lumi pm I believe, a steal at $2500 when it was over $2800 mainland.

I got the chanel woc in gold hardware thanks to your review! And also a LV cles to put inside the woc because I don't have the heart to be using the card slots yet lol. Just went to Oahu first week of Sept and bought a Delightful MM Damier Azur with Rose Ballerine interior at Waikiki downtown branch. Got to save $200 compared to when I buy it at our hometown. Pretty cool. You're right, all LV associates are very welcoming and nice. My associate even gave me and my hubby several of their perfume samples. 😍

Anyways, maybe over the months when you have used the Dior WOC, would appreciate if you could do a review on it.
I have a Dior WOC but the "square" version which is very similar in shape compared to Chanel's WOC. I had it almost a year now but I barely used them, I must say less than 10 times & I hardly over stuff it. I have some scuffing near to where the chain is hook but Dior said, nothing can be done to it. I am so disappointed that I do not wish to use it anymore but do not wish to let it go as it is my 1st Dior bag/slg same as you.

HI Mini...quick question, how were you and Robert able to purchase the Dior handbag at the DutyFree Dior boutique? I live in Oahu and people who are traveling internationally are the only individuals who are able to purchase from that galleria. They do not allow Individuals from US to purchase anything from there which is totally unfair.
