Man, I only done Walljumping once and it was when I first played Tekken 6 with Steve. I had no idea how I did that and I'm so glad I know it now thanks to you, Aris.
On my god 2:35 I don’t play Tekken but I’ve recently been wanting to pick it up and I’ve seen this guy before so glad I subscribed. But I seriously cracked up was not expecting that 😂😂
11:34 this is a sole reason why I hate T7 training mode, there are shit ton of stuff that isn't said in game for newcomers to learn. Even simple stuff like your options when you're on the ground (minus brief info's at loading screens) As a person that came back from Tekken 3 and haven't played since, it was a pain in the ass to learn this stuff on my own.
I did not know that the new hit animation, where you make your opponent spin on hit, while leaving them standing, also wall splats. That is good to know.
theurinal Why does the game take so long to load anyway? It's been like that since T6, despite the fact that Tekken is generally not very graphically intensive.
On ps4 it goes between 15 and 30 seconds. On pc with an ssd it takes 10 to 20 seconds. Not that huge a difference. The huge difference is on xbox lol on xbox its between 45 and 1 minute
Nice one Hairy Potato I didn't know about the spinning animation wall splatting. I've mained Lars and I love to get that guaranteed f3 ~ 2 to a good mix up state after I've spiked them and if they haven't held back for the quick get up animation roll. Dunno what it's called. Tech bk, bk Tech?
How do these guys know these things? I mean, I knew about these but only because other people had told me about it. Where did this information originate? Are there any other special moves that don't appear in the command list? Like the u/f2 for a lot of characters
Moves that don't appear in the command list are generic moves shared among the entire cast (unless they happen to have a unique move that would overlap with it). Generally characters will have more than a few of them.
+SCORPIONFURY +Lcdscreen My real question is how do these guys know these things? T5 had a tutorial so some of these things are known to people but some moves are just at par with discovering secrets. I am not saying that it's a bad thing, it's kinda fun, but how do these guys know EVERYTHING?
99% of the mechanics are carried over from previous Tekken games, and 7's been in the arcades for years so anything new they added then's had plenty of time to be discovered.
Twarit Waikar It was harder to know anything at all back in the days when we played Tekken when there was no internet, today you can find every information you need in just a few minutes. We had to learn stuff by our self most of the time if it wasn't in the manual
Idk if Aris reads these comments but regarding spins... to think of it in an intuitive way, if the opponent spins their shoulder would hit the wall which would stagger them slightly because of collision. Maybe the animation doesn't make as much sense but it's for consistency I imagine. Just a thought. I love these guides.
7:15 does anybody know how thats a while standing move? I thought while standing moves were when you crouch and are in the process of standing back up, but is he just crouching so fast that I dont see it or is he not crouching or........ Idk. Im very confused lol. Thanks in advance for anyone who replies
So I don't know this for sure (I've never played or owned a Tekken game, this is just info I've learned from binge watching his videos all week), but from what I'm seeing his combo of b2, WS1+2 has absolutely nothing to do with the little jump kick that is wall splatting originally. Meaning that the b2 is really just the palm strike he does and the shoulder bash is the WS1+2. The reason this works is because the b2 move, the palm strike, recovers in crouch position. This means that after doing the move he should be able to just release the stick and press 1+2 and thus execute the WS1+2 move without ever having to do a crouch input. At 8:55 you can he him doing hand motions of the combo on his face-cam, albeit they seem completely backwards. Edit: My b, didn't see Zashi's comment until I had finished the video, I should probably refresh the page from now on before commenting. But I believe that Zashi is correct
You are correct, but some moves puts your character in a crouch position, just like dragunov b+2 thats why he is doing a while standing move "without crouching". Actually he is on crouch because of the previous move he did.
I know im year late but in tag 2 everyone has 2 characters and you have to combo with both at same time so its harder to copy anyone because theres many different combinations of characters that people will use compared to only 1 character like in tekken 7
ThePumaoX in tekken 7 in particular good wall carry is so common that every good player with most chars wants to put ur ass into the wall with a combo every round, i know i do because its either u take him to the wall or hes gonna take ur ass to the wall
I've noticed that Character's power moves can differ wildly: Lars has a slow mid that knocks down while Lili has a short range launcher. Is there any consensus on which characters have the best ones?
Again, the wall jump isn't mentioned anywhere in this game, it's ridiculous. I can understand hiding easter eggs, but I have been playng Tekken since the second game (granted, not in any competitive manner) and I have never even seen the computer do that. It just reminds me of the amazing tutorial that SC3 had compared to this, that one went into dsignificant detail whereas Tekken just does fuck all. That's not a blemish on the quality of the gameplay, btu man does it make learning advanced concepts needlessly complex and dependent on whether or not you stumble upon someone like Aris.
@@thatmonkemanzelinki2185 I like tekken and Mk. I hated MkX but Mk11 is definitely not the same thing. Not even close. They've added a bunch of mechanics tweaked move lists to where theres not as many 5050s and removed the run mechanic. Mkx was trash mk11 is pretty good.
"You don't have to make combos like you did in tag 2, that was fucked up." Funny, the only reason I like playing melee competitively is that with DI and the percent health system you literally are making your own combos a lot of the time, but it feels really intuitive, fun, and satisfying in a way that I've never felt in another fighter. I mean I fucking love all fighting games, but that's the thing that makes me play smash melee (that and it's crazy fast momentum).
lol, just imagine an actual tekken school with aris giving the lectures
There'd be flowers all over the school grounds and Principal NoPants would have his hands full with degenerate stoner students.
The ATP School for Kids who dont wanna get gobbled up
Where do I sign up?
"Lesson is in session, SHUT THE FUCK UP KIDS"
Hagrid
"Thank you very much....Now if you'll just stfu for 2 seconds.." lmao :D
He probably loved it. "This is what I pay you for... now aboose me MOARRRRR"
Lmaooo I'm weak
The only thing more savage that Aris' beard and Dragunov are his insults. *Moron Kombat*
Is Mortal Kombat that damn bad?
I've never touched it.
Naw, Aris is even a fan of NRS games. They just happen to also be really goofy.
That feels more like the Aris we all know and love.
Mortal Kombat is fun with friends but trash competitively
i realize I'm kinda off topic but does anybody know a good site to watch newly released series online ?
I had no idea about the walljumps. So cool to see new things in the series
Fireheart47 I think wall jumps were in since tekken 4, definitely not a new thing
Wall Jumps aren't new, but I agree anyways
Not new to the series. New to me in the series, sorry.
+Fireheart47 It's cool, just noting it for anyone else reading. +1 anyways :)
Ever character has always had a wall jump?
I thought it was only a few? Holy shit.
i love aris' videos so much. been watching his commentaries and tutorials since T6 and been hooked on it since. keep up the great work, as always!
Man, I only done Walljumping once and it was when I first played Tekken 6 with Steve. I had no idea how I did that and I'm so glad I know it now thanks to you, Aris.
Been playing Tekken for years and never knew how ppl were wall-jumping. Thanks for the lesson.
lol doesn't matter how much money. don't interrupt the man when he's trying to teach xD
?Money
What's going on in here
I like how there's no bullshit intros in he's vids, fuck me he doesn't even say goodbye it just ends simple and practical
That's cause someone else runs his UA-cam channel, these are just clips taken from his live stream
On my god 2:35 I don’t play Tekken but I’ve recently been wanting to pick it up and I’ve seen this guy before so glad I subscribed. But I seriously cracked up was not expecting that 😂😂
so did you start?

good stuff Aris.
Got yourself a new sub from Fance bro. keep up the good work :)
why does aris always accidentally have turbo on lol
lol fr
Treasure battle
Making up combos with your two mains in Tekken Tag 2 was huge fun, you're crazy Aris.
I did not know that the new hit animation, where you make your opponent spin on hit, while leaving them standing, also wall splats. That is good to know.
I had no idea that this game had walljump!
The loading time on PC is amazingly shorter than the PS4 version.
There's already a mod that makes loading even faster.
Edit: The mod is called T7 U LOAD FAST LOL - by TOOLASSISTED
theurinal
Why does the game take so long to load anyway? It's been like that since T6, despite the fact that Tekken is generally not very graphically intensive.

Part of it might be the crap stock PS4 hard drive. I use a SSHD in my PS4, and load times aren't nearly as bad.
Aris has Tekken 7 installed on an SSD. Anything he does on it will load far faster than standard data storage.
I can't believe I had no idea about the wall jumps. Apparently no one else i play against does either
6 months later and i still forget about them lol
And 6 months later than that I'm just learning about them. Crazy world
playing tag 2 in its entire life span makes it easy playing this game
Nice one Hairy Potato I didn't know about the spinning animation wall splatting.

i think the previous move leaves him crouching. so if your not pressing a direction the next move will be auto while standing. Someone please verify.

my god ive played forever and never knew about a wall jump
FUUUUUUUUUCK.....that's not even in the tutorial or character movelists. Maybe I missed it. You're a BOSSSSS !!!!
"I don't even remember what I was saying" - Aris in every video hahahaha I love it
Why don’t those green orbs on the wall fall when you hit it?
I felt like they removed the wall jump off PS4 but I realized I couldn’t do it at all lol
thanks
just out of curiosity , why cant you copy combos from others in tag 2?

King's splash is throw on CH
Thank Mr Aris
damn, why didn't I watch this video sooner
what is low slump? he mentions it @10:05
holy shit! then shaheens' df3 homing move wall splats!!!
tested wall jump with other character works... but somehow Eliza , I can't do it with her @__@ is she have one? x.x
2 years later. She doesn't, same for Akuma
@@congobongoproductions5476 thx for commenting that, it's good to know, even 2 years later.
Hi I'm a noob. I can't do the wall jump as Eliza. But I can execute it with other characters...
Any advices?
xBrokenSt4Rx Eliza and Akuma might not have them.
I had no idea whatoever what a wall jump was
Mind Blown
Man, walls really did change Tekken a lot now that I think about it
ThePumaoX in tekken 7 in particular good wall carry is so common that every good player with most chars wants to put ur ass into the wall with a combo every round, i know i do because its either u take him to the wall or hes gonna take ur ass to the wall
Getting pinned against the wall by king 😫
don't think eliza / akuma has a wall jump tho
KSabot every stoner in tekken has wall jump
Does he have a editor who edit this videos?
alexi delli yeah, aris doesn't operate this channel
alexi delli Yes. Aris used to but doesn't handle this channel anymore since he became a worldclass streamer.
n0pants from the chat is in charge now.
ok thx
alisa flyes away when u use b,b,u/b,b
where does aris lives? everytime he streams, it is like 2 am here (ny)
I believe he's LA based. Definitely somewhere in Southern California.
Why is Hagrid teaching me how to play Tekken?
Been playing Tekken since Tekken 5 and I didn't know you could walk jump xD

Does really every character have a wall jump?
I tested a few out and Eliza doesn't seem to have one which is really weird.

I lose it when Aris: Moron Kombat LMAO
has anyone done combos for charectors that give the launch bonus at offset angles yet or are we a bunch of lazy stoners
loved the ''moron combat''
Lol why does he say ''moron kombat''?
I don't know the exact story but Aris changes names for stuff lol. He calls Killer Instinct "Killer Bitch Stink" :P
